Hey fellows, here's some fresh news. I was driving down Cadell Road towards Prabhadevi at about 8.25pm and stopped at the Kirti College signal. There was a silver car facing me with its Xenon headlamp glowing. I dismissed it as a Sonata V6 at first. A second glance however, revealed a temporary numberplate and 3 point star on the grill. It suddenly struck me, that I was staring at none other than the new Mercedes CLS a.k.a. Jaguar fighter! As the light turned green I slowly drove past it. Boy, does it look good! It's clear what Mercedes are trying to do - take on the Brits at their own game of styling. The rear is similar to certain Astons and the Jaguar XK. The side view is pretty sexy too. Sad I couldn't stop any longer to admire this amazing car.
I had never liked the looks of this car when I saw it in pictures. Now that I have seen it in flesh and blood, I have no hesitation in stating that it's certainly the best looking Mercedes along with the W126 S Class and R129 SL.

Awesome piece of news . Aparently another sighting has been reported that of a CLS 500 at Le Meridian

Wow!! The CLS according to me is a different and a good looking Merc in the new era. So now there are 3 favorite new Mercs in my list the G Class, CL and the CLS :D

WoW The CLS is probably one of the best looking cars i hv ever come across. I saw it in dubai in december and i couldnt take my eyes off it... a complete Stunner of a car. Some1 pls hunt that beast down and take some pics with more info!

How has MB addressed quality issues on the CLS btw? is it one of the new "bug free/flaw free" mercs that they have been promising their new generation will be....or is this car only half way there?

I sat in a Merc CLS500 at the Minneapolis Auto Show yesterday. Very nice car. Too much wood inside though. One CLS is also rumoured to have arrived in Bangladesh.

Here is the car. In two months time on your showrooms. CBU. Price on road not clear till now cause 2-3% increase for all cars from April 05.
