re: Supercars & Imports : Hyderabad

Today was special! Why? Because i saw my first Rolls Royce Phantom EWB I have seen Phantoms before but i swear, this one was HUGE! Adding 10 inches to the wheel-base makes it look GIGANTIC!! The rear door was ENORMOUS! Its road-presence was unlike any other i've seen(it's almost as tall as a Ford Endeavor).
She was wearing a different colour, brownish-maroon, with contrasting skirts and a double coach-line
I was so excited, i took almost 80+ pics. Had to delete a lot of pics as the car was so shiny that everything else was reflecting in it! Will be posting the pics shortly.

By brownish-maroon, I think you are referring to the burgundy color. Thats a royal color and was indeed was a popular color for luxury cars in the olden days.

I think a two tone burgundy and light cream did look great on old RRs'. Looking forward to your pictures !

re: Supercars & Imports : Hyderabad

Shyn, post the pics of RR Phantom EWB. Eagerly awaiting to see it. What ever color, I am sure it would look Royal. Shyn, hit us with the pics of EWB.

Amazing pics Shyn. I envy you, you got so close to the RR. Looks like this whole shoot was done with due permission of the owner. Correct me if wrong?

OT: I think the son of Mega Star also has a RR with Double Coach lines in the similar color. I think it's a RR Phantom and not an EWB.

I guess that's what they call it.

1. Why would i need the owners permission? If you're referring to the pics where the driver is smiling at the camera, that was taken 'coz the driver asked me to.

2. The other car you're talking about is Black with a Golden double coach-line. Go back a few pages to check pics of it i had posted earlier.

3. Like i mentioned in my earlier post, it is the EWB. I've seen 2-3 Phantoms in the past but this was GIGANTIC! Trust me, it was the EWB! and if that wasn't, i can't even think how ENORMOUS an EWB can be!

Shyn bro, beautiful pics of the Extended Wheel Base Phantom. I think I have seen it near Jubilee Hills Checkpost the other day, I was going in the opposite direction and for a second I was thinking, who in the right mind would turn the Phantom into a Limo, but then it struck my mind it was indeed the EWB Phantom !

Kudo's to you for those beautiful pictures of an Automotive Art on Wheels !

By the way My Sister spotted the Black LP640 at Lanco Hills/Gachibowli Main Road Junction yet again yesterday evening. Sorry she couldn't take any pics as it was way too fast !

re: Supercars & Imports : Hyderabad

I know this car and I have seen this many times before. This is certainly a EWB model. BIG is the word. Huge!!
Road presence is unmatched!!! This car was borrowed and put up for display at Taj Krishna more than an year back for the launch of the Rolls Royce Coupe model. Along with it was the Coupe for the occasion.
The car has fur carpets inside. It doesnt get any more luxurious than this.
Awesome pics Shyn!!

Superb pictures, shyn!!!

Astounded after seeing the EWB and the Nizam's Hyderabad is the best place in the South to house an RR EWB

At Lanco Hills as in at the premises? Could be a new addition to their garage, going by the fact that all their exotics happen to wear the same color (case in point, black DB9, black Jag XF-R, black H2, black CFS).

Afaik, Lanco's H2 was sold and is now at B'lore. Did see a couple of recent spottings of the same in H'bad, does that mean they got back the Hummer or was it just visiting?

If the black LP640 went to the Lanco guy's garage, that is one garage I envy.

Btw, beautiful pics of the Supernatural EWB

I'm guessing the H2 was just visiting Bangy. But when it did come back, it had lost those bling alloys! It's running on stock rims now. And like they say, one man's loss is another man's gain, the other black H3 which was previously running on stock rims has now got the Bling (though not the very same ones but equally shiny)!

I mean the Road which connects ORR to the Gachibowli Main Road adjacent to Khajaguda and Lanco Hills Main Entrance. I will be around the ORR for a few days will try getting some pictures if I spot it.

Meanwhile here is something I found on Facebook,
A White XFR, Blue Z4 and a Grey BMW 650i Coupé. That takes the total no. of XFR's in the city to ?

AFAIK:
Black XF-R (supposedly from the Lanco garage)
Silver XF-R (usually spotted at Beyond Coffee)
White XF-R (the one you've posted)

You do the math.

re: Supercars & Imports : Hyderabad

Here are the one's I have seen and know so far -

White XFR - Lanco Garage (they have a white one and not black)
2 Silver XFR - one Spotted by Shyn and the other recent buy
Blue XFR - Real Estate developer
White XFR - the same one posted above.

Not sure if there is a Black one. Have not seen any yet.

Have seen the Blue XFR near Taj Krishna once and the one's Shyn has posted. One of my friend said he spotted a Maroon XFR with temp plates near Latitudes, I am not quite sure of it, he might have confused it with a normal XF or maybe ?

So the Count would stand at 2 White, 2 Silver, 1 Blue, 1 Black and 1 Maroon (Rumored), So total = 5 to 7.
