An amazing catch today at Phoenix Market city. The rare(in India) Smart Roadster spotted. Kudos to whoever wanted to import this 3 cylinder Mercedes tuned 80hp sports car. But not sure if it is a Brabus tuned one which is about 110hp(information from Wikipedia).

The security did not let the guy park it in the premium parking next to the roundabout inside, so he zoomed of into the basement parking and the exhaust sounded like a swift with an FFE only much more throatier.

I remember Jeremy Clarkson call it the most fun car he had driven all year. Thanks to watching every episode TopGear I remember all such offbeat cars.

EDIT : It is a very small car and most of the bodywork is plastic, weighs roughly the same as a Nano.

Great catch, but would love to know the story behind the car, I mean, why would anyone take all the effort to import something which unique, but doesn't excel in performance or luxury.

Always wanted our market to have a peppy little 2 seat, affordable sports car, wish it comes true!

It is currently at Lamborghini Bengaluru. It is not much bigger than a BMW 5GT, see the picture for comparison.

My friend spotted a defence spec Hummer at Perungalathur last evening.

He couldn't get clear shots as he was on a bus. does anyone have more information?

That is a Renault Sherpa, not a Humvee.

Needless to add that this vehicle was bound with a dozen other security vehicles and policemen on top security cavalcade, Was wondering what was in it rather than the truck itself!! 🤔

This Mercedes GLC43 AMG is an unique looking vehicle i might add. This is the first seeing one upclose.

NSG (National Security Guard) has its regional hub in Chennai off the Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road which is just abt 6 Kms from the location (Perungalathur) where the vehicle was spotted.

My wild guess is that, it could have been out for the Republic Day parade security cover / mock drill.

His wife does drive a RR Ghost and he himself drives a red Ferrari 458 Italia which is barely ever seen.


That aside, here's Chennai's newest - a Ferrari 488 GTB finished in a stunning shade of Blu Scozia. This particular car has a plethora of CF parts and even the track telemetry system for a good measure.

Look who growled over to Nungabakkam yesterday. On the lighter side, the roads in this locality need an SUV.

My congratulations to the owner for his good taste in getting a blue Ferrari.

Would be good to see it on Chennai roads.
