A DL SLK 350 in Chennai. Engine makes a nice growl but the car never takes off!

Read somewhere that the Bentley India Tour is coming to Hotel Leela Palace, Chennai.

I think the guy resides in Nerkundram just beyond their private bridge. If you seen the conditions of the road leading up to their property and the bridge the car has to negotiate!

I didn't know you could bring Dubai registered cars in India and on top of that it should be a left hand drive. As the only cars I have seen left hand drive are from the Counsalate cars.

Is there any such provisions in the customs to allow these cars here??

Should be interesting to know.

I think the same car was seen in Mumbai sometime back...

You can, temporarily, on Carnet.

Check out the imports in Kerala thread. Plenty of such cars there

This was spotted in Valsarawakam

Looks totally out of place! There are a lot of exotics here in Chennai but i believe that this is the first American muscle.

That's the Targa 4S. There are only a handful of Targa's in the country, remember seeing one in Mumbai long time ago.

Saw this Mercedes R Class bought by a leading politico being driven to his hospital, this personality owns various medical & engg colleges, distillery units and star hotels in and around Chennai.

Governor Rosiah uses a black R Class. You can also catch a grey silver one near Somasundaram Ground, T Nagar.
