I think this one belongs to my neighbor. Not 100% sure, but they have the same one. It hardly ever goes out. They have a few other imports including a gorgeous red SLK which daily goes till the end of the road, takes a U turn and goes back inside. Never seen it going anywhere else. They also have ALL C segment cars currently available in India and they all stand on the road. Only the imports are parked inside.

yup!! thats pondy alright!! look at the sign board. it reads Rue Ananda... Rue is french for road!!

good to know the GTS is being used more often now.. my brother spotted this a while. its been in chennai for quite a while now. i spotted it here over 6 months back near nungambakkam.
P.S: does anybody know who the owner is?? i guess it could be MR lambo SL as it bears his signature 4 digit number on the plates.

Cheers!!

That's right. They live two doors down my house. Last count, they had 11 cars for 5 family members. All the cars have the same last 4 digits. The daughter in law of the house drives a Fiesta 1.6S and takes the SLK for it's short spin every day. Do you know them, jagxf?

I hate sports cars.

(ok, exageration, of course --- but I'm not a sport-car person))

But... the E-type! That was the sports car. Had a look under the bonnet of one, once --- that whole, huge, long front end was just crammed with whole, huge engine!

Some people, of course, might find those curves to be a bit on the femine side!

Guys, the owner of the GTS also has an X-Trail. I have once seen the GTS driven into their Adyar store late one night and being quickly covered. my friend was shocked when i showed these snaps cos he thought i was kidding him when i told him the price 2 years ago when we saw it that night. Great alloy design!

On the green Mustang, had spent quality time looking it over a few months back when i took my Palio to a mech who specializes in exhausts in Royapettah.
Got my first real taste of a classic American muscle car, was trying to figure out how the driver could slide into his seat and fire it up... Kudos to the present owner!!! think it runs a 4000 cc engine...

@rubicon - the Celica belongs to the owner of the hotel, actor R K, he also has an old Lexus SUV and a Hummer H2

Yes, I live just one house away from the 'sweet' house. There are 11 cars there. 5 or 6 stand inside while the rest stand outside.
