Thanks to fellow bhpian and friend RohanDheman for inviting me over for the 2024 edition of “Automotives and Art”, hosted by his brother who is the founder of Easel Stories Art Gallery - https://easelstories.com/.

While the art pieces were exceptionally beautiful, what caught my eyes were the gorgeous automotive pieces on display

Isn’t that just Series 1? Defender name only came about in the early 90s IIRC. This looks a lot older. Quite similar to HUE in-fact. Fantastically restored though!

The Defender comes with alloy wheels for all 5 wheels as standard. However, there is an option to spec a Defender with steel wheels. The steelies are retro, rugged and they do appeal to some section of the customer base.

Yes you are right. The Defender moniker was introduced later.

Spotted this 992 around CP today and I loved the spec. It looks surreal in person. Came on here to find more pictures of it and viola, it was just posted yesterday. Are there more 992s in this colour or is this the only one in Delhi?
