re: Supercars & Imports : Goa

The Jaguar XJ is such an imposing sedan. The presence it enjoys is unparalleled, even around Range Rovers and Q7s. Very few sedans can boast of such presence.

Great catch!

The Jaguar XJ belongs to the same owners that sport other exotics too including the range rover, bmw x6, cayman, panamera, mercedes e classand the masserati etc. etc.

Here's some more pics of that same car which is also going to be a GA-XX-X-3040 :P

I have also attached a picture of their cayman.

re: Supercars & Imports : Goa

Here's a picture from a friend's album on Facebook.

It shows the yellow 599GTB and the red F430 Spider mentioned earlier.

I've seen the 599GTB twice in Miramar, the first time without plates and more recently with the plate in this picture.

Nice shot, the 599 looks lovely in Yellow. Who wants to see the rims painted black now?

I've seen this F430 Spyder in Mumbai, then it was owned by the younger Poonawalla, has he sold it? (and then got the BI LP640).

Spitfire how come you don't think the jag without number plates is sickening show of power?

Its sad that people assume that all our politicians are bad power hungry people.

Either that or you have some issue to pick with the politician who you thought owns ferrari.

I don't think for a minute that the car was not registered and on the road as you cannot have insurance without RTO papers.
it would be foolish to drive without insurance

I saw the red 599 one late last night on the airport highway. i was on the bike so could not take a snap.

I don't think supercar owners opt for comprehensive insurance. At least in India they don't. I could be wrong though.

The Red one in the pictures is an F430 unless you are referring to another 599 in Goa?

That definitely is the Anniversary Edition F430 Spyder! He may have sold it as it did not make an appearance during this year's Supercar Rally. It had a problem with the roof during last year's rally.

It is not an Anniversary Edition F430. Its a regular Spider with a Hamann rear spoiler and some other bits. Yes it is sold but surprised to see it reach Goa.

Yes. Apparently, it was headed to Bangalore. Pretty unhappy that it didn't make it here. Would've added to the long list of Ferraris here in Bangalore. Pity.

Great car and a great picture.

The 599 looks great, when did the F430 come down to Goa and where is it staying in Goa.

Anything exotic registered with 3040 belongs to the same owner. The Jaguar XJL was clicked on the same day that it was delivered. It was driven to the owner's office in Panjim and then home. It is registered apparently with yet again the classic 3040 number.

The masserati was imported last year. LHD it is indeed. I am supposed to click pics of all his exotics in his stable. I am due to come down to Goa next of April.

Will post pics soon.

Ryan i am surprised that a lhd car has been imported to india.
I was looking at the importation policy of customs and it is clearly mentioned that lhd cars imports are banned.
Anyway it is great that it is here and we have one more exotic to drool over in goa.

re: Supercars & Imports : Goa

moralfibre, Why do these exotic car owners do not opt for insurance?? I mean that why would someone want to put such expensive cars at risk?
