Not the German consulate, but the prominent family related to the prominent building owns this.
Consulate cars have black on yellow plates with "CC" in between 2 sets of numbers.

Geography and General Motors? How are they even related?

Anyway, just checked prices. The price declared to customs is 52.63L. Since that's CIF value I'm assuming it included the cost of RHD conversion (~$20k). Now, at 213.34% duty, it should come to 1.12cr. So total price was 1.64cr. Straight 70L profit!

If you mean the older gen car, then this is the one I guess. A friend (and a BHPian) from Pune used to own it back in the day, and eventually has changed hands and made it's way into a prominent collection here in Bombay. Love the presence these cars have!

It's a lease plan with 8.5L + GST to be paid monthly for a minimum of 18 months. Details mentioned below. Crazy IMO.

Perhaps another word for "Brought on Transfer of Residence or similar category and cannot be legally transferred for a certain period"
