Thanks for sharing, Omkar! I see Porsche as being positioned above luxury brands, but below exotics and must say, they have an incredibly diverse product range. The company's global success is well-deserved. They have a VFM sports car (Boxster, Cayman), small crossover (Macan which is a super hit), big SUV (Cayenne), 4-door Panamera, the Taycan is among the best EVs on sale today beating even the Teslas in track day performance, the iconic 911 & special editions like the GT3 which take the fight to the best from Italy.

All this with timeless styling, daily useability & reliability. Porsche is one of my favourite brands & I hope to own one someday.

Re: Pics : Porsche Festival of Dreams | Mumbai | January 26, 2023

Manufacturers like these get my respect .

Whoever named the event, "Festival of Dreams" . A free event for the public to witness the entire line-up of Porsche under a single roof, and not just for the owners! How I wish I was in Mumbai to experience this. The event reminded me of when I got the opportunity to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, a few years back.

Great to see an event like this being held in India. Makes much more sense than spending money to go to the Auto Expo, which in the past two-three years has become quite unexciting.

Wish to see more such events being held by other manufacturers in the future.

I hope events like this happen in Delhi someday and kudos to Porsche India for making this event accessible to the general public as well apart from their customers.

Hi Omkar,

Really appreciate your thread and drool worthy photographs from the Porsche event.

I would like to know how did you get to know of this event before hand. I saw this thread yesterday, clicked on the link and realized the event "Was" on 26th Jan

I am based out of Bangalore and I would have happily flown out to Bombay for a day of car gazing.

Thanks.

Hey Tanu3000,

Thanks for the kind words.

This was a 2-day event where the first day was for the media which is when I got to see these insane cars. The event was open to everyone on the 26th. Porsche announced the event on their social media platforms - Here's an Instagram post for reference. You can keep an eye out on the manufacturer's social media platforms next time around .

Re: Pics : Porsche Festival of Dreams | Mumbai | January 26, 2023

It was really nice to see Porsche bring this event to India after witnessing similar events in Dubai and elsewhere. While I appreciated the effort the brand put in here as well as the atmosphere and the free posters that we got, I hope that with the next iterations of the event we can witness special gems from Porsche's museum collection as well as special Porsches that reside in India.

Such events are the only places we can witness these iconic cars and enjoy looking at them. Overall, great effort on the part of Porsche India.
