Lamborghini brings Aventador Ultimae to India

The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster is the grand finale of Lamborghini's iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine.

India gets one of the 250 units of the roadster ever produced. Pricing is yet to be revealed.

- 6.5-litre V12
- Last Lamborghini to use V12 power alone
- 780hp,720Nm
- 0-100kmph in 2.8sec
- 355kph topspeed, making it fastest road going Aventador.

Exterior still looks great even now in 2022!
The interior though looks dated, especially the centre console.

I think I had made this comment a few years ago that Lamborghini is naming the Aventador like how us, the designers name our design files: final, finally final, finally final last, finally final last ultimate, and so on

Only 1 Coupe and 2 roadsters are allotted for India, and goes without saying, all are accounted for. Delivery of the first unit, which is the model seen in the images above, will take place later this month.

, we have every version here, from the vanilla to the Ultimae. All except the J, but that is a bit too exclusive.

That close-up shot of the rear brakes got me curious.

Turns out that's the secondary set of callipers! Haven't seen an arrangement like this before.

That would be the parking brake. Most high performance cars have a second caliper at the rear, unlike regular cars, which have a small drum brake at the centre hub of the rear disc as a parking brake.

Hopefully this isn't the last time we are ever gonna see a V12 in a Lambo, I hope Lamborghini is not affected by the VW/Audi Group's incessant move towards electrification and moves to a Hybrid powertrain while retaining their iconic V12 and V10 engines like BMW is doing with the next gen M5 as that car will be a Hybrid but will have the newer 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 (aka the S68).

Yesterday saw the delivery of the first Aventador Ultimae Roadster in Mumbai. The car is finished in an Ad Personam shade of Arancio Bruciato - a colour previously only found on the Sian limited run model.
