Through Techart, Porsche customers in India will be offered everything from full vehicle conversions to carbon fibre kits, interiors as well as performance upgrades.

The latest announcement is part of Techart's plan to expand into major metropolitan cities around the world. The company is also looking to diversify its service portfolio with electric car customization.

Techart is based in Leonberg, near Stuttgart. The company was founded in 1987 and is known for producing some of the most potent 911 versions, including the GTstreet R.

I'd be a million times more happy if a company like Dinan or Manhart or Hamann opened in India because BMWs are much more accessible than overpriced CBU Porsches.

Would be very interesting to see what kind of offerings they have available. I think India could be a jackpot market for them if they start offering kits and other products for the mainstream cars e.g. Polos etc, although internationally their market segment is not this.

Either ways this is a welcome move, hope more other companies follow suit. They should not have problems finding snazzy cars looking in Indian metropolitan cities, we already have a handful of Porsche owners on the forum.
