Well, have to agree with several others that it is not a very enviable collection. Just a not very polished effort to show off his immense wealth. The guy's lack of taste is evident in cars too!!

Actually every man who has the money loves his cars!

The collection does not show any particular taste for cars. Its just that he can afford it so he has bought the most expensive and biggest ones.

There is a difference between having love and taste for cars.Here its just love expensive cars.

Also being a Delhi boy I can understand all the wrapping and bling!

A guy with taste for cars would like to preserve its originality.

Pardon my saying so, but this thread has become a gossip thread.

The person being discussed isn't here to share his thoughts, neither has he professed to be a car connoisseur elsewhere in the media.
And even if he is car person (let's say so) who's to decide his tastes should align with what everyone's (here) definition of "nice" collection should be?

He's got VAG cars probably as brand ambassador gifts or got good deals on those, either way, sure beats paying full price for another brand if these cars fulfill his transportation needs (or whatever else is important for him wrt a car).

Also, he's got much more important stuff to do with his time and mind space instead of trying to impress the world with his choice of wheels.

Virat owns a lot of expensive cars, may be they are purpose driven purchases that will satisfy his needs.

As a bunch of car lovers, we have our tastes and preferences, but it's not necessary for every wealthy person to be a car guy.

If I were asked to choose a cricket bat probably I would buy an expensive one, believing it's the best, but it might not be the best one in reality.

Also, the number of cars one owns is never a qualification to be a car guy. I hope you all agree

The gurgaon garage is most likely his elder brother's so that ugly matte wrapped BMW 7 and other cars bought & housed in gurgaon might be his brother's choice.

Virat calls Mumbai home now and has a Q8, RR Vogue & a Bentley in his garage. Mumbai garage can be called his rather than the Guragon one.

Another addition to Virat Kohli's Gurgaon garage, a Mercedes Benz GLS450. This one is registered in the name of Virat Kohli's brother, like most of the other cars in the Gurgaon garage.
