The Super Car Club has opened a garage and a cafe at the Raymond campus in Thane.



The Super Car Club Garage is equipped with the latest technology and has trained technicians. It offers services like restoration, maintenance and repairs for sports cars, supercars, luxury cars, and classic cars.

The Super Car Club Garage claims to have India's biggest paint booth with over 2.5 million shades on offer.

The Super Car Club Cafe is an automobile-themed cafe. It can be used to host launch events and to showcase products.

Will the cafe be open to the general public/enthusiasts?
I don't have high hopes.

I don't think the Cafe is their money maker and is much more of a place for customers to spend their time or hangout with fellow super/exclusive car owners while their cars are being serviced/looked after. And maybe if its open to public, a place for young people to come and drool at some cars and take their complementary instagram selfie and give the shop free publicity

I mean, making your influencers pay you is a pretty neat business model for marketing.

The Super Car Club Garage & Cafe, the first of its kind in the country is now functional. The Cafe attached to the Garage is open to public and while you are busy tasting the delicacies on offer, you maybe lucky enough to catch glimpse of a period vintage , classic or a super car drive by. The fully equipped garage with world class facilities is managed by a set of highly trained professionals, trained to carry out small niggles, extensive mechanical repairs, remaps & tuning to complete restoration .

Reminds of Classic Remise in Berlin. They have a workshop and museum for both new and vintage super cars, plus a restaurant. They typically host events for corporates and I had the pleasure to attend one.

I am sure Mr. Singhania requires a fleet of highly capable / qualified technicians to work on his own fleet of cars. It makes perfect sense to leverage that and make it into a small business venture. Any lead manager / engineer who is in charge of his fleet can treat this business as his baby. And its a neat idea for the overall passion to be self funded by some of the overhead costs it incurs.

This is purely speculative on my part of course. Its a crude analogy of how some very very rich people also put their private holiday homes in goa / alibag on vistarooms etc. - basically pays for the running upkeep cost of its staff and maintenance at the very least.

Singhania has very good attention-to-detail and if its his guys overseeing the operations, I would be optimistic. Plus, Raymonds follows corporate best practices and has good people, so there definitely won't be any shady stuff happening out here. I'm a big fan & customer of Raymond's made-to-measure and hope that similar "best practices" are maintained for this place as well.

Rightly said GTO. The idea is to give a wholesome experience to the customer, one stop shop for all your requirements, just like in a MTM store. The workshop is not restricted to one genre or era of automobile, nor is it restricted to specialized work of certain type. You could drive in with your Morris Minor or Murcielago for a change of spark plugs or a complete ground up restoration.

Couldn't have been a better start to commence operations. Skirts are off ( fenders, running boards ). Being prepped for a complete make over. What shade will make her stunning ?

The Cafe is open to public and serves customers from 9 am to 9 pm all through the week.

Went there today. Cafe is decent (pizza, basic nachos, sandwiches, coffee, tea, smoothie, etc) but one cant enter the service area and there were hardly any show cars around (understand its not a musuem and a service center or care center).Could peek and see the 720s, a 911 and a couple of vintages. Security said no photos and I adhered to.The bmw and s2000 were covered just outside the service bay.
