BMW unveiled the M5 facelift in June 2020. The car has been spotted in Pune.



The updated BMW M5 comes with redesigned LED headlights with twin L-shaped LED daytime running lights and new LED tail lights that have a smoked effect. The car comes with a body kit featuring a gloss black grille, different bumpers, boot spoiler and diffuser. It also has a carbon fibre roof and redesigned 20-inch alloy wheels. The test car has silver alloy wheels.

On the inside, the M5 comes with the latest version of the iDrive 7 infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.



The sports car retains its 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 592 BHP and 750 Nm. The engine in the M5 Competition produces 609 BHP and 750 Nm. Both variants get all-wheel drive as standard with multiple drive modes including Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and a new Track mode.

You forgot to add one important thing: it Does Not come with that hideously ugly radiator grill!!! It comes with that nice black grill from the older version (assuming that this is the final iteration).

Hehehe. My sense of length is going haywire i suppose. After seeing the new noses on the non M ones, i was sure this was as small as the nose of old!

And yes, it is still So much better than the new M3/M4! Those look like someone fell over upon the front mudguard of an old motorcycle (you know the ones with the licence plate mounted on lengthwise?) and split his nose in two!

2021 BMW M5 Competition Launched in India.

The 2021 BMW M5 Competition is here, priced at Rs 1.62 crore (ex-showroom). It gets a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that churns out 625hp and 750Nm, with a 0-100kph time of 3.3 secs.
Along with some tweaked styling and new tech, it also gets a retuned chassis with new shock absorbers.

BMW India has launched the new M5 Competition at Rs 1.62 crore (ex-showroom). Made available via the CBU route, the BMW M5 Competition is available for booking on the company's India website.



Powered by a V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo Technology which produces 625 hp and has 750 Nm. It is capable of hitting 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.



The BMW M5 Competition also gets three modes - Road, Sport and Track, which can be selected using the M Mode selector



Twin 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display and center display highlight the cabin of BMW M5 Competition. It now gets BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0 which also includes 3D navigation.



Some of the other highlights include support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon Surround Sound System (Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system comes as optional), BMW Display Key, Surround View camera and Head-Up Display.
