He meant Face Lift (FL). Another person I know of in Bombay got a 9 lakh discount on the SLK200 due to the same reasons. And then he registered it at Jharkhand RTO bringing the price down by a good 18 lakhs in total counting the discount.

re: Supercars & Imports : Chandigarh

The owner of the SLK200 doesn't seem too pleased with the car. Check this out-

Or am I assuming things here? A different car maybe?

I'm guessing it might just be a different car because AFAIR , This advert was up quite a fair bit before the Cannonball Event in Chandigarh . And I guess , The SLK too was a part of the event .

Check the upper right side corner of the advert. It was put up on 29-10-2011. 3 days after the pics were put up.

That is a very desirable Ferrari. The interiors look great, and love the choice of grey alloys too. A black-roof would have completed the picture, as that really shows off the 458's beautiful curves and haunches. No matter. That interior makes up for everything.

Very tastefully done!

Knowing the owner, I don't think it would stay stock for too long. Let's hope for some lovely Tubi exhausts. Or Akrapovic? Maybe even Novitec? Speaking of which, the white 458 in Mumbai looks insane, with those lovely little carbon fiber bits around it.

I hope he doesn't do anything with the exhausts. The stock exhaust from the 458 makes one of the most beautiful noises ever.
That said, the interiors do look nice. Congrats to him on owning yet another beauty!

Chandigarh is filling up with exotics everyday .

A White Cayenne S with Sports Exhausts . And uber hot 20 inches black alloys .
Sector 15 .

A Brand new F458 Italia . Ferrari Red.

A Blue E Cab . Sector 10.

A Merc SLK ( Not an exotic in front of the above mentioned ) also sector 10.

re: Supercars & Imports : Chandigarh

A friend of mine saw a Red Ferrari parked at the airport today with A/F on the registration plates. Some people came in an Audi and drove away in it I was told. Now since my friend is a girl she is not too familiar with the world of a petrolhead. She didn't know which Ferrari it was and wasn't even able to describe the car very well. Any idea if it's the same car that's pictured here or a different one. And if it's a different car then which one and where is it headed.

Superb car!

If you are in contact with ecks, ask him the time and day he takes this beauty for a spin around Chandigarh. I will be visiting the city in 4 or 5 days. I hope he takes out his machines every weekend nights. I am just curious on how a 458 will sound like when given full beans!!

If not Ferrari, you can ask about the Audi she spotted. You just need to know if it was a sports car in black. And you have pretty much the answer. It's the same car...BTW, I don't think there are any more Ferrari cars around with A/F on their plates. If there are, it would be so timely to have two 458s together.

OT: Just when my high-school was over (5 years ago), I was cycling towards my tuition center, late on one summer evening. I spotted KD and his Porsche. That was the first time I spotted and enjoyed the noise of a sports car in real. Continued my ride to the tuition and entered the classroom grinning ear from ear. Bragged among my friends about the Porsche I had just seen. Oh dear, spotting a sports car in our country is so a luxury?

After about two weeks or so, we discovered that the owner of Porsche (Of course, we didn't know he's called KD) had a house in Sector-33 too. We went there. Blabbered some rubbish with guard just to catch the glimpse of the Porsche parked inside.

Every time I visit Chandigarh now, I just run around sector-9 and sector-10 foolishly to find KD and one of his cars (preferably Murcie or AMDBS). Never spotted any till date.

KD, if you are reading this, then please take your AMDBS or 458 (since Murcie is gone) for a ride on the next weekend. And do let us know, via any of your friend on t-bhp, about the time and checkpoints or locations you cover during the ride.
