After searching for my car for almost 2 years, I can say that you will find some lucrative deals, of which, very few would be genuine, the rest would have some catch or some issues with the cars or some issue with the papers etc. So a proper checkup and verification is a must.

Talking about dealers, I found BBT to be very supportive. I was in talks with their sales consultant for the 987.2 in case they could arrange one for me (I took a friend along who ended up buying a S60 polestar from them) and they were patient despite all my demands (as you would have read in my thread) but yes they would be slightly more expensive as they also need to run their facilities etc.

Another observation was that if we consider 2010 models of Cayman S, Mercedes S class & a Mercedes GLS (GL in 2010), which were around 1 Cr mark when new.
Today a Porsche Cayman (or any sportscar) would be the most expensive followed by the GLS (or any SUV) and the S class (or any Sedan) would be the least expensive due to factors like
1.2 Door sports car availability is very low (High demand for good cars & Low supply)
2.SUV demand is decently high in our market
3.Sedan market is sinking slowly (Low demand & fairly decent supply)

Instead, how about an unreliable, comfortable, less run and brutal sounding 380PS beater 5.0L V8?

Interesting to see some Calcutta cars making it here. Would request all to throughly check all cars they are looking at and then only buy. Majorly for service history, how much they have been abused, who has maintained them, accidents, mods, etc. A lot of them quietly visit local garages or change multiple hands without showing up on paper.

Do check with enthusiasts from the city the car belongs to. They usually know the ins and outs so that one can save themselves before falling in a trap.

Belonged to my best friend's neighbor since new. Odo has been tampered with by the dealer. And also changed multiple hands without changing names on paper in the last 1 year ever since he sold it for a Maybach.

Intact this dealer, has our old E60 520d which he wrapped Matt Blue. 2 years since we sold it, I am still fighting for a name transfer formality to be completed to get all liabilities off our head.

Surprising to see Carbon Ceramics on the c63s in India. Whoever owned this earlier must've used it mainly on track otherwise it makes no sense picking this super expensive option. These don't come standard in any AMG today except the GT series. Still the color combo is beautiful and the car is bonkers as a daily driver.

Another case of ridiculous pricing. This car might be yet a first owner on paper but I am pretty sure it has unofficially changed several hands. Yet it is being listed at a nearly the price it was bought nearly a decade ago!
