Seen the maroon Cayenne Turbo again yest. Could get only the rear view cos of heavy traffic on my side of the road. The best part it still manages to look good without any tints. Seems to be a fully loaded one with screens on the headrests.

Sorry to say mate, but that's not a genuine Turbo. The front-side air dams have a slice through the middle, found on the standard Cayenne and the S. It could very well have been 'badged'.

Most people will think it's some silly joke. A Cayenne Turbo S...someone going overboard with the badge. People like them should stand behind that Cayenne and listen to it take off. If their pants are not wet as a result, I am not a man.

As aniguchisan said, the black one isnt a Turbo. It seems to have normal halogen lights and not Xenons. So its a Cayenne V6. U see a Cayenne, the first thing u look out is for the bonnet and the bumper to distinguish between a Turbo and a non-Turbo.

And to distinguish between a S and V6, look at the headlights.

Maybe that's the case in India, as I have seen normal Cayennes here in the UK, fitted with Xenon headlamps. The Bi-Xenon headlamps here cost a cool £789. I'm not sure if the Cayenne S's here come with Xenons as standard either. In my opinion, they don't...

The Cayenne S comes with Xenon's (not bi-xenon) as standard in India. The V6 has halogen lights. I'm not sure if the Turbo has bi-xenons.

Probably cos no one is gonna spend £789 just for the headlights.

Precisely, the same case was first seen in India, when the W220 S-Class was launched there around late 1999. The Xenons used to cost around Rs.70,000, and many of those Mercs (S320s) were found with Halogens as a result. It's not that people with a Rs. 56 lakh car find Rs. 70k a huge sum, but it's more so that they're afraid of how easily someone can vandalise their property. It's not worth losing that much car for just that little bit more light.

Spotted a black Cayenne Turbo near Marine Drive. Can the mods edit the name of the thread to Porsche Cayenne Turbo Spotted rather then Grey one.

that is not a cayenne turbo as said before. BUT you can have any cayenne with any fittings. when you order the car and if you have the time to wait.
they will make it to exactly your standards. You can choose the kind of stiching on seat. you can choose the kind of door handle. the kind of cargo nets, the kind of badge (colour). the kind of music system (bose). the kind of seatbelt. the kind of eveything you can imagine including lights. Xenon is available on all cayenne models. Unless the car is not in stock and you want immediately.
I have one customer who has ordered a cayenne from the new dealership in mayfair, London. He has a cayenne-S without xenon because he did not want to wait.
i can post the list of options. you will go mad.
