Whats the point of having a heads up display when there is no GPS navigation in India?

there are other parameters like speed, revs etc which arepart of the display

Ya.. the HUD shows the Rpm speed as well as the gear te car is in.. the Engine has developed some strange noise in the Intake system right from day one.. the engine sounds almost like a diesel at idling.. so the car is under observation.. a Tech guy from BMW had come to inspect the vehicle.. so some work has to be done on the vehicle..

Regards,
Maverick

I feel the heads up display should be made mandatory on all cars. It saves you the effort of taking your eyes off the road (especially when you're giving it the stick).

I feels it's common with all M5s. Even when Tiff reviewd the M5 on Fifth Gear, he started the engine in the morning and showed concerns with the way the engine was idling.

Blue BMW M5 - E60 spotted in Bangalore, confirmed.

Guess what, theres a second ///M5 already planned for Bangalore..and this guy's gonna rip the vehicle for sure unlike the 1st ///M5.

Hmmm...can it be Ranjith?

Forget the M5. I'm in love with the new E60 535d. The car may have about half the M5's power figures, but it has 413 lb-ft of torque compared to the M5's 384 lb-ft. Sure it doesn't have the 8250 rpm red line or the NA engine, but this thing has two turbos working sequentially. The smaller of the two turbochargers spools up quickly to kill lag while the larger one force feeds plenty of air so that the engine doesn't run out of breath after 4000 rpm. It still does 0-60 in higher 6's and does 35 mpg too. And with the optional sport pack looks as good as the M5 too.

ported...yeah the 535d is a good alternative, esp if you care about fe and prices, but man, M is M!

Hey guys,
Pics of the M5 i promised.. sorry for the delay.. the pics were taken from a normal camera.. Pics scanned thanks to Sinner. The pics were taken prior to the car being dewaxed.. so she looks dirty!!

M5 Upfront,

M5 Rear End,

Awesome ///M V 10

///M Speedo..

Awesome ///M Exhaust

///M Alloys and side fin..

Regards,
Maverick..

Excellent pics man.....the alloys still dont fail to amaze me....and those double twin exshaust just give the 'dont mess with me look'....actually the M5 badge is more than enuf for that.........waiting to see it in person.

Am so happy that it is in Bangalore but really sad that it will hardly be taken out for a good work out
