Just out of curiosity, is there anyone on the platform who could talk about their experience of driving a vehicle on carnet in Kerala, especially with regards to tolls (like I expect that we can't get fasTag for these vehicles on carnet, can we?) and left-hand/right-hand orientation difficulty?

Hope this video bring some clarity on most of your doubts about carnet import, should the language is not a barrier.

Thank you for sharing the link. I had indeed seen this video earlier and I think I have been more obsessed with these customs and shipping formalities than actually worrying about getting the right vehicle here. lol:

So, I was looking for people's experience of paying tolls for such vehicles and driving on the other side of the road, especially while overtaking on single carriageways. Because if I remember right, when another Malayalee vlogger had brought down his modified F150, every time he passed, he had to pay the tolls of a small truck (which I agree suits the size, but still :eek:).

Since we anyway have to pay road tax and tolls, I was hoping that it's possible to get a FasTag as well, since it's going to be incredibly awkward and painful having to lean over and pay through the window on the other side, especially if we are going on a long roadtrip.
