Nope....I believe its the exact same Patrol. You can see glimpses the car in this scene (featured prominently elsewhere in the movie). The classic Rangie is visible as well

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

The Range Rover and Patrol are the two reasons that i watched the movie from start to finish. Else it's pretty average to see.

The Patrol's raised suspension meant Shekhar Menon used the bonnet as a shoulder high table tocrush his 'cocaine'.
And the sweet burble of the Rangie's v8 can be heard more than twice in the film, with the radiator fans spinning away to glory.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

Guys, the Patrol in JK's garage and the one in the movie (Pic in post #8045) are different.

The one in the movie is a mangalore car.

Cheers!

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

State losses a Gallardo, 911 and DB9 to Mumbai at one go from Nisham's garage in Thrissur. Making space in that huge 'basement parking' is the justification I hear. Maybe, a worthy replacement for the aforementioned trio is going to make into the stateline soon.

Can someone shed more light onto this.?

Erm..it's not technically "sold" yet, it's been sent off to a dealer in Bombay and is very much on sale right now. Not hot news as well, the cars left a good two three weeks ago.

Though he was gunning for a big one I later learned the deal didn't happen and so for the moment at least, I don't see a replacement coming in in a jiffy

Sweet car and now looks better with the Nero roof and wheels, but I'm not a fan of the tan leather interior. Black would've set it off! Of course, it's a used car, so there is nothing he could've done

Here are couple of pics of his latest acquisition, the Patrol.
Looks like it participated in waynad OTR :

Thats a big blow! Would anyone here know to which dealer in Mumbai? Those cars might be going away for good deals. Its worth enquiring. Wish he kept the DB9 atleast.

The news wasn't discussed anywhere, so thought of knowing the authenticity. Happily however, his Fezza still remains in the lot for the time being.

The Gallardo has found a new home at Thrissur itself.

Life comes full circle. I remember that this is the same guy who crashed this Lambo after a night out in Cochin, when Nisham was driving his Porshe.

It was the Bentley, not the lambo. The lambo incident happened from the owner's hands itself.

In other news, a Red Porsche Boxter S is coming to Cochin. Replaces the Toyota MRS.
