Ok, so now somebody please disconnect the thingy that spews fake sounds into the cabin.

This might be weird, but according to the owner, he till now didn't hear the exhaust note being played out of the speakers. He made an effort with the windows up and down, but made no difference. Either the thing is missing from this car or blended in well to the actual exhaust note.

By the way, his M3 is getting a KSG in a week or two. Shall put up a video of both by then :)

Here is my fav view of the IPEs. Car Porn!

Does he still have an M3 ? Wasn't it traded for the Jag and then the M5 or the otherway around.

Lol, quite a confusing tale. He traded the Jerez Black E93 M3 for the XF-R which eventually got traded for the Alpine White E93 M3. The F10 M5 came in as a replacement for the E60 530d.

Here is a pic of the two Ms :)

Keepin it classy :)

No better way to raise a racket than with Racetech & Pete's :D

Few pics from my side.

From my first hand experience, I'm quite underwhelmed by the IPE. Its very identical to the stock system except for an odd crackle or pop. It's dead silent once the turbo kicks in, more so than the OE system we felt. De-catting might bring a more clear difference, but that's a bit extreme.

Star of the day was surely the M3, WHAT A CRACKER!! My god, we were all in love the moment Manik turned it over!! It was quite late by the time the installation had completed, so we wrapped the day with a few city and highway blasts. Proper photoshoot of the duo, soon :)

Wow, that Porsche sure looks amazing. Love the alloys and the silver body/alloys goes really well. Is this in Cochin? Not sure if I seen it anytime before. Is that a Carrera S or so?
Porsche are classics any day. Heard that amongst the supercars the hotelier has, he prefers the Porsche anyday over the Galardo, F430 or the R8. It has a better tolerance to our roads and it can be used as an everyday car unlike the others and superb performance at the same time.

He changed exhausts on both the cars ? How much does Pete's charge for these. Some European sites quote close to INR 10 Lacs for this (excl. set up cost)

Good that IPE doesn't make too much sound, otherwise it would have been quite a noisy neighbourhood.

That's a Kollam car and is a 6-sp manual Carrera S. It's in Cochin for a few upgrades. Got BBS CH-Rs and decatted Tubis as of now. Awaiting GT3 RS throttle body. Yes, it's gonna be an insane Porker! ;)

The car is ear-bleedingly loud, not a tasteful noise per se, but L-O-U-D.

True you heard. He's in love with the 911, so is AT. The 911 Carrera Cabrio is AT's daily drive and has so far clocked 45k kms. He let the R8 go for the soon-to-be-delivered Fezza, but I don't see him selling the 911 at all. I think what has 'em hooked is the tractably sufficient power.

Yes, he got exhausts for both. Pete's just installed the IPEs in the M5. Racetech got down the parts for both and did the M3 installation, just used Pete's facilities.

10lac for IPE? Way high!

That's the Doc's motor. His other car, the Bentley, can be seen daily in Kollam.

There is a new White Porsche Cayenne in our neighbourhood. It belongs to the Hotel owner here in Fort Cochin.

In today's Manorama there was a pic of him taking delivery of the Car.

Also spotted that Yellow Porsche with the 911 Regn plate couple of days back.

What kind of Cayenne is it Lloyd? Turbo? GTS?

Its been a bit quiet here lately. None from Kings garage cruising around kerala?

To me, thats not a very nice sounding Porsche. When revved, it sounds less Porsche and more Japanese. And a purist would never do that to his 911.

GT3 RS throttle body sounds great, really. You have any idea what difference is that going to make to the car?

Spotted this RS5 yesterday. Awesome wheels
