Lurker got it right.
There is a small correction though, you can’t actually register the car locally even if you want. Firstly, its LHD, no other LHD cars other than the Bugatti Veyron is allowed to be registered in India. Then there is the age factor, cars used abroad which are older than a specific period of time (5 years I think, could be wrong) cannot be registered here, the only exception being TOR.
Also, there is nothing fishy about using vehicles on Carnet, the whole world is using it. Half of the supercars you see nowadays in Europe are UAE registered. I know of someone who flew down his Aventador, SLS, 458 and Maybach from KSA to LA just to drive to college :D
Spotted this Infinity FX37 at Jos Junction, Kochi!
Couple of pics of the Maserati Quattroporte.
Audi S4 has landed in Cochin.
Pic Courtesy- Nithin Yohannan.
Spotted this Bentley at Kalamassery yesterday.
Spotted three Harleys at Salem Saravana Bhavan today morning. They are DL registered and coming to Kochi showroom from Bangalore.

What a car! What a beauty! The car oozes pure elegance! RR Ghost's are sheer wastage of money, when it comes to the looks*
*My personal opinion.

You're comparing apples to oranges mate, the Mulsanne's rival is the Phantom, not Ghost.
This particular one costs 7.6cr OTR Kerala, that is more than twice the cost of a Ghost.

You have got the figures wrong mate who on earth will pay 7.6Cr for a Mulsanne ?
If im not wrong the car costs close to 3cr ex showroom Delhi.
And the car is also compared with Rolls Royce Ghost FYI

I saw autocar.co.uk comparing the apples to the oranges in this
link. They have provided enough reasons why they are not pitching the Mulsanne against the Phantom.
I remember BBC top gear reporting the cost of Mulsanne as 3.20 cr. Here, i am talking about the price of the base model. I don't know what all bespoke additions Kerala's Mulsanne have, which is a factor in deciding price of the car.
