- It is NOT owned by any hotelier. It belongs to the Transport company owner who owns the S,E and Boxster(recently sold). Yes, I do know him.

- The X6(White) owner is the hotelier and he is my first cousin.

That X3 is parked right infront of its owner's building. He has rented out the complete building. He has 3-4 other cars too. All are white and has the same regn. number(No issue on mentioning the details).

OT - Both of you guys are right in some way.

My uncle's current cars doesn't sport the number 5(now most of the cars are used by the sons). His earlier cars were 5's signifying his 5 sons. He still have a Merc E250 Diesel with number 5.

Sorry every one, forgot to mention about the new member to my fleet, 1997 Nov, E250 D, auto, done only 76000km. We upgraded our 190D with this E250 last Sunday (9th May). This photo was taken after a long drive from Calicut-Wayanad-Calicut-Tirur on a raining night, hence the car wasn't clean. I couldn't snap any better photos due to the tight schdule, more over the car is non-stop running since its was the opening of our new Resort. Dad uses the car, but now he drive very less and driver drives more. Even when I'm going to site, I give the command to him & I finish my pending works in my lap sitting rear seats.

Anyway for time being only there snaps, will post more later.

Congrats on the new car Hani. Did you buy it from MH? Its alloys seem to be aftermarket. Which brand are they? Hope you'll start an ownership thread when you get time. Let more and more Mercs come to your garage. Way to go.

Congrats on the buy bro. Looks well-maintained. A good wash and she will shine to all its glory. Can't the black exhaust stains be removed from the bumper ?

Look out for some good rims bro. Slightly over-bling for its age and design.

In the show the person describes about adaptive breaking system which holds the brake for 2 seconds even if we remove our foot from it on uphill so the car wont go down.

Is it really necessary for vehicles like GL and M class since the both have an automatic transmission deployed. I believe in AT cars, the car will move forward without going down despite of the terrain in 'D' mode.
Thank you! Just noticed your commands!

Thank you! May GOD take your prayer!

I bought it from here itself, infact from my wife's relative! I've exchanged it with my 190D.

Ya, its aftermarket alloys which were there on it when I bought it. I tried to get the orginal steel rims, but they didn't have it. As Vishnu its Plati's 15" wheels & tires are Bridgstone potenza. It really kills the ride of the W124, hence planning to change the tire with better profile, I'll also put the stock wheels if I get one.

Tail lamp is also aftermarket. I was told that it was having the odd looking clear lens after market head lamp on it which the earlier owners changed. I may change the tail light too

Black exhaust stain will vanish after a wash. As mentioned it was not cleaned when I spanned it.

Lovely car bro. A true classic. Post more pics along with the interiors. And do get the original rims, they look way more gorgeous than the loud ones which came with the car, wonder what the previous owner was thinking.

She looks good, Hani. Do bring her around to our office so that I can take a TD.

I'm sure almost all of us on t-bhp will agree when I say that the W124 is a timeless classic. There are some of us who have always wanted to own a W124 and there are some who have been wild (brave?) enough to step up and make it a reality. Congrats!

And yes, those wheels might look nice on something more younger, it just ruins the plot.
