Thats a Zimmer Golden Spirit, made by Zimmer Motorcars Corporation based in Syracuse, Newyork. approx 1500 units were ever built. But not Custom made for a single person. After a lot of ups and downs ow Zimmer Cars is owned by a family member, Art Zimmer. And, I'm not aware if Zimmer used ford engines. Hope it helps, Cheers !

My friend told me that there were 3 of those kind cars which belongs to a royal family from Abu Dhabi , those 3 where serviced in teh same work shop.

The toyota Thundra has come for Engine tuning and they removed the stock engine to install some power tuned engine

Nice snaps & good to share it, since Vishnu produced all the details not explianing more. I've seen a similar car at Khaja's collection, but i was told that its modded by them & it had a modded Merc 115's grille.

My friend took the delivery of the first Beetle in Calicut y'day. He had called me to join him when he gone to take the car, but unfortunetly I was in B'lore y'day. Will most probably be driving it t'day!

I was wondering why you hadn't turned up for the delivery....

I ought to have a snap or two of the handing over function. Let me see if I can find it. I'm sure Hani will oblige when he does get to drive the new bug

As I mentioned above I was not in Calicut y'day, I was in B'lore,hence couldn't go!

Nope, I did not hear any radio. The guy was zooming past in it. One thing I noticed it that speedo & tacho meters were not working.

I just noticed that in the first pic that the speedo and the tacho don't seem to be working

What could be the reason for that ?

i dont blame you. they both look the same from the front, but if you look at the pic posted by foby, you can notice that it is a truck.
