Hannie , was pretty busy and he was not able to come down till thrissur.
But he managed to send his G- wagon to me with his driver for the motor show which was conducted in thrissur.

It was a pleasure to drive the Geländewagen . Fellas I have ony seen the G wagon in the pictures , when I saw it real my jaws was dropped :Shockked:.

Such a huge vehicle , with a roaring sound and killer looks in mat black.

The ground clearence was awsome , but a bit hard to get in to the vehicle.

But when I first saw the vehicle I though how could I drive such a heavy vehicle , But when I got in to the vehicle and started it , I gained the confidence . As always for the Merc vehicles handling of the G- Wagon was simply superb. I love the commanding position of the driver seat.

While Yousef(Hannies driver) was driving it I tried sitting in back and cruised through the Thrissur round . It was beyond my expectation to sit and travel in the back seat , the comfort was good enough as well.

In the first and second gears the vehicle will roar like any thing , the sound ressembels the heavy truck but milder than that , I can say the sound of the G wagon is sweet enough.

In third gear the vehicle frees it self and is ready for the punch, while the sound gets mild.

The interiors give you the real feel of the Military vehicle.

I think the turning radius is the best in the class , Kudos to Merc!!!

After all thanks to Hannie for giving me a chance to drive his monster.

Well, if that was subsequently KL registered, it might be the one that the dealership offered me, also a few months back. Was priced at 50L thereabouts. But by then I had got myself a lightly used Montero from an acquaintance. I tried to sell the Montero off, but couldn't find a buyer soon! What a beauty, this Touareg. I'm a solid fan.

I dont know as where it was registered, IMO if you are a person who enjoys Off-Roading(like me) then look no further than the Montero, Its the best and 'Bang for the Buck'. Touareg is also good but my choice would have to be the Mighty V10 Tdi.

The thing is, "It hardly makes an effort to impress you like others, but still leaves you Impressed":D

I too saw one with no: 7777.

A leading two wheeler dealer from Trivandrum has added a red Supra to his collection of used imports.

.

He ment the engine humming on high torque, not the sporty trottle sound as you guessed!

I'm in B'lore, I post this from a cafe, just to inform you all a hot news. The person expected to buy the Bentley is not going it. Instead he is going for Rolls Royce GHOST.

I got the information at noon, but I was out in the industrial area. There is his daugther's marriage next month, so he may try to get it before it, but not sure!
