The ferry I mentioned is between Ponnani & Chamravattam (Tirur). It in service for the last 3-4 years. As I mentioned earlier I first got it when I had my Range Rover & it was with me between mid of 2005 to `06.
There is one more ferry in this area, its between Beypore (Calicut) & Chaliyam. |
i didnt know you had an RR!! what model and year was it?? some pics aswell if its not too much trouble.
Spotted ahead and later in my rear view an Audi Q7, XC 90, a 5 series last week :D Pretty funny to see these being bought just for doing FE runs on highway and blocking traffic.
And can pix of machines waiting in showroom etc be called as spotting?

Not in all cases buddy! I don't think there is an issue in posting the photos of the auto spotting at showroom!
One more facelifted Q7 sold in the state, this time its a white one & is being deliverd to Tirur to a doctor who was also the first buyer of 7-series through BMW Cochin dealership
Spotted this H2 on Dubai plates in calicut and an unregistered white X6 this afternoon.

Saw this X6 at a pump having water service! This X6 is the one owned by King's beedi, but it's in Calicut for the last few days. They are still driving in Temp Plate! They are not understanding the risk in driving it in TP!

Oh, so Thrissur is now on the top gear?
Y'day I was told that Audi Kochi received five confirmed order from various districts of Malabar for new Q7; 3-Malapuram, 1-Calicut, 1-Kannur. They already met their target for the new Q7 & A4 is also doing well, but its hard to sell the new A6. Last week they even delivered a new A8 (white) to a customer from Kollam
BMW got two bookings of X6 from Calicut, both to be red! They have last month sold 3 new 730Ld.
A customer from Malapuram gone to Navnit Motors for his X6 as he couldn't wait for another four months which is the time for Platino to deliver the next X6. He is going for a dark grey & it's high loaded.
One of the leading builders of the state who is also my dad's friend, took delivery of one of the most loaded 730Lds last staurday. The same costed him around Rs.95Lacs & the car is having split rear a/c, all four seats massager & heating/cooling system, reverse camera, etc. It's black with red interior. Even though the builder hails from Calicut he is settled in Cochin, there is chauffer driven, but when ever he is in Calicut I used to see him driving himself in his earlier cars. Suprising is he was not keen in upgrading his cars like his business grown, he had Camry & he used his Opal Astra almost ten years before he bought the Camry. But now it's a big jump from Camry to 7-Series.

Saw this ride today. The owner is a very good friend of mine. I just had a look inside the car. Didn't have time to drive it or even for some snaps. I had some guests at home:Frustrati. Will have to drive the big car soon. Maybe tomorrow, time permitting. And yes, it is risky to be on temp plates, but there are ways around it.
Have seen quite a few X6s in the U.K & K.S.A. I must say it does look wierd at first. Grows on you soon enough.

Some spotting on today & yesterday.
The new LandCruiser is DL regn is being in the city for couple of months, but could snap now only at M M Ali Road in front of a Jwellers Office.
Montero spotted y'day near 4th Gate level cross! It has a after market xenon + projector lense head lights!
My cousin reported that he saw the red H2 at a paint booth, came there for minor touching & polishing. Since it was fully covered for painting he couldn't snap!

HanMust, is this place opposite Bombay Jewelers? I don't know much about Kozhikkode, that's why I'm asking.
BTW, the Montero with the after-market projectors make that Montero look odd or weird. But it still looks good.
