I was watching a pre election interview with pc thomas in jaihind tv , In the back ground I saw a merc van with yellow boards and some hotel name written , I think it might be in kumarakom, any info guys..

The new Facelifted M-class was launched on last Tuesday on a Press meet at Rajasree Motors, Merc's Cochin showroom. Mr.Suhas Kadalskar (Director, Corporate Affairs, MB India) along with Mr.Govind Kumar (G.M Sales - Rajasree Motors) unvieled the the new M. There were two other new ML320 CDIs in the showroom, white & silver!

On the way to Cochin we saw this foreign tourist with a 1959 Mercedes LP series 4x4 truck. The family is from Belgium & are on world tour. They told that even after its 50years age, the truck is still capable of taking them through any rough terrain at any climatic condition. They were about to take after having thier break fast. When he started the engine, it sounded exactly as our very own Tata SE trucks, its because the base of Tata SE is the same Merc LP truck.

On my quick walk through I noted that the truck is having all MRF tryes. They are using solar energy for the lighting & heating of the caravan. There is a motor bike & couple of cylces. The water tank is also desi one.

It was lunch break when I visited the service center, so most of the senior technicians were out for lunch, so what I was able to know was, it happened on a high speed drive in which the driver lost control & the car run out to a field.

I had spotted the slk a few times in the past weeks. the places where i saw the car gave me a good picture of the owners too. if i am not mistaken they have a X3 too (I dunno about their other cars)
