How do they manage to get the same number for all their cars every time? Do they time the vehicle right to ensure the number is available in the series?

I was watching an interview with DQ about the cars featured in his latest movie ‘Lucky Bhaskar’ and he mentioned the Nissan Patrol featured in the movie is actually his, undergoing restoration.

You can always pay more to get the same number. Each state has a different system but you can pay more to the government and get the number.

It's not the one you have attached, that's the Y61.

In the movie they've used the previous gen, Y60, immaculately restored.

What happened to the rumoured RD350 purchased by DQ?
And Now that Lotus has officially launched the emira in India, and DQ being DQ, I expect a supercharged v6 with manual gearbox to adorn the 369 plates soon.

At this time 369 is not part of the "fancy number" list (and hope it remains so)

So they can pay a minimal amount and pre-book a number (Rs. 10k is what i paid 12 years ago for a normal but favorite number. This may have changed over a period so haven't checked the present status)
