F10 M5 is long gone. Heard the car got totalled after he sold it.

The M5 has been sold for a while now, the Panamera Turbo being the replacement.

If we decide to list all the cars they've owned over time, we would be here for a while. That's why I posted what all is currently in the garage.

Wrangler, not theirs.

I have seen Mammooty in a purplish RR Ghost in Bangalore. Sources closed to the family say it belongs to DQ's in-laws and is parked in Bangalore. Its almost as good as DQ's then isn't it?

You know, it is hard to be impressed these days when it comes to supercars in India.

It has been over a decade since supercar-buying has become somewhat common among the super-rich in India, and as a result we now have over 150 Ferraris and similar number of Lamborghinis and an equal smattering of Astons, Jaguars and 911s. If someone buys a Aventador SV, another person flies in a 720S and a third person starts triumphing all over the net about his being the first 488 Pista or 812 in the country (which gets sold off in a year)

In between all this and among the rather (now) dull and repetitive weekend supercar-meets, I adore collections like this! Give me this over a guy owning 4 of the latest supercar any-freaking-day.

Collections like this are like a representation of the collector himself (or family). The entire collection almost has a character of its own, a single thread that seems to bind the cars like the Mini to the M3 to the Volvo and back to the owner, and it is definitely not just money.

Thank you for sharing. I have a soft spot for modern classics and eclectic collections like this, because they need way more than just money to keep them alive. This is the reason why I love bhpian anish9000's collection too (R129 SL, 348, Rapide, M4, Caddilacs, E30s, etc). There is another person in Bangalore who has a lovely collection (996, MR2, Miata, Supra, SL63, W123).

Any idea what Mammootty was driving in the 90s and 80s?? came to know that he had Tata siera, Premiere Padmini, Honda Accord, BMW and so on.

In the 80's, it was the Contessa. This car was very popular due to the TV antenna on the boot

. This was his daily driver.

I did meet Mr. Mammooty with my father in 1992 in chennai. He was driving a blue BMW. Not very sure if it was his or not but I did see him at a couple of events in that car.

Did Dulquer ever buy that BMW i8? He was rumoured to have bought one in Dubai?!

No, never. Photographs from his test drive of the i8 went pretty viral saying he bought the car. Not true.

Though he did own an E63 BMW M6 while he was living in Dubai, but this was before he forayed into movies.
