That's a neat spec :) ! I saw one in the same shade last week, and pictures simply don't do justice to it. I was half-expecting him to get a 90 with steelies though :p .

Just curious - I noticed in an other picture on Instagram that it has a sunroof. Is it the panoramic glass roof or the electric folding soft top?

Then it has to be the Defender. Pretty sure it will be either of the three : Defender, Wrangler or G wagon. :loveit

Seems like two of my guesses came true clap:
Just imagine a single picture of Mammooka and DQ with one in the defender and the other in the G-wagon ! Meanwhile another garage with proper two latest off roaders belongs to Joju George. The wrangler and Defender !

Did DQ purchase an old citroen recently? saw a pic doing rounds in IG

Doordarshan recently uploaded some of Mammootty's old interviews from their archives, on their youtube channel. The videos are circa 1994. Spotted some of his old cars in the video.

Was super excited to see his E36 3 series. Never thought I'd come across a pic of this one. This was his first german car, which he imported in 1992. Also seen are his Tata Estate and Maruti 1000.

The contessa had even more goodies and was more hi-tech. And this was the 80's. A TV to start with.

Actually, that isn't an Esteem shown in this video. It is originally a Maruti 1000 that is rebadged to look like an Esteem. During mid-nineties, many Maruti 1000 owners used to rebadge their vehicles by replacing the 'मारुति' logo on boot lid with an 'ESTEEM' monogram. Being a luxurious sedan, most of the filmstars, professionals and businessmen used to have one in their garage at that time.

Slight correction, the मारुति badges weren't swapped out for Esteem ones, but the OG Suzuki Swift ones, it even had a Suzuki steering wheel. They did later own a dark blue Esteem, again with all the same Suzuki trinkets that they used to collect while traveling.

Look at the tread wear on those tires ! Seems like they have clocked some serious miles with recently acquired G - Wagon. Another thing I have observed with DQ is how he always has a phone holder attached to the windshield when he drives. Not a big fan of Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto I guess !

Considering the fact that most of his cars are from an era when 'car play' meant other things :p, won't it be easier to get used to one system that works across any vintage of cars?
