I am not good at identifying classics so i was unable to find a relevant thread in the classics section too.

I think this is the classic merc replica made by DC. Was featured in Autocar a couple of years ago. Also there on the DC website.

That's an interesting find and what appears to be a decently executed replica of the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Roadster driven by the great Stirling Moss in the 1955 Mille Miglia. It's also touted to be the most expensive/valuable car in the world. Any guesses on what the donor car could be?

That seems to be a replica or kit car of Stirling Moss's legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR race car.

If it wasn't for the tacky looking tail-lamps, it was perfect!

IIRC, there was a 300 SL Roadster in Pune, maybe that served as a base car.

I guess the tail lights had to be made do with since the actuals wont be easily available.

If I am not mistaken, then I had seen this car under covers with a couple of SUVs and a 500 much before the 458 came.
