Are these cars seized property or have just been abandoned?

I believe they have been abandoned with a dealer and maybe for sale. Since this is not a police/govt compound, they cannot be seized cars.

The first abandoned S-Class seems to be back on the original alloys. Both seem to have busted suspensions which will cost more than the car's resale value leaving them in this horrible condition. I wonder, why don't the owners scrap them altogether or atleast sell it as a part's car.

One of the reasons for abandoning these cars may be a Suspension Failure and high cost of replacement. There is another example of this on thread in form of M class (ML).

The airmatics cost on the car is not that high that one abandons the car. The fact is also not known that it was an airmatic failure, it could be anything. Even my ML when i don't use her for months when we are travelling sits down, key her and she rises back up.

Adding to what Speedy says, there are US compnaies which make replacement pumps and struts for a lot less.

Replacement is easy, setting up the system and calibrating it is the issue

That would be the SL63 and not C63. If you were hoping to see the cars in Mint and showroom condition..then it would be rude shock..otherwise its expected and normal. The car aromatics would have sat down..it does with non use. There would be other issues and expensive ones at that too.

I believe this was seized along with the ex-AP F430 Spider, both of which belonged to a smuggler.
