This car is the same as my ex 635csi. I really do hope the person who bought it has some knowledge on where to get things done and does not expect this car to start in one or two selfs. I had seen this car and she was completely rusted, seats were torn and the dash in shambles..this is one heck of a restoration job to bring the car back to life, but once you are behind the wheel, its a dream to drive.

re: Pics: Imports gathering dust in India

the officer said that the vehicle resembled a 118 NE , and the registration is of MAR series ; so I'm presuming that the toyota for sale looks like whats below:

This must be outside lexus showroom - workshop. ain't it?
They have couple of LXs and other imports lying or left to rust because of too high repair or restoring cost involved.
Well okhla phase 3 is a place for such abandoned beauties!

Well not a Lexus showroom but lakozy motors. My office is bang opposite them and it's heartbreaking to see a lot of Lexus and other imports just lying there.

Thats a W140 S class. Any idea of the engine (Model designation at the rear). The cost of repairs does not justify the resale value of these cars and owners just junk them.
