Doesn't the Corolla have a crash bar from the Maruti Omni ? Looks like it still runs fine. Of course, brake lights are missing, and overall in a bad state.

its looks a bit like the bull bar from tata sumo to me.its really sad such such cars make it only if they are maintained throughout otherwise there is no point in restoring them

wasent the boot sufficeint?..a carrier!!

the car hasnt started rusting yet has it?
i hope it reaches right hands before that

mercs of this period happen to be my favorite

the latest mercs (i mean the E class) dont have this appeal, the new s and c class are much better then the mercs of period 1996-2005

Kirryaji, this is indeed a LHD and is a W126 300SD which was an American spec 300D with a turbo charger, This was the same engine used in the W123 300 turbo diesel. The body is similar to my W126 300SEL which is a RHD and the engine is similar to my W123 300D LHD.
thank youji

As of today it's practical to either own the cars of recent generations(for use) or vintage/classic cars (as part of a collection).
