Correct.My bad! Yes,the last Aston based on the DB9 was the Virage and the drop-top version of the same retains the Volante name!

Great pictures. Clearly shows the enthusiasts lenses were eager to capture the turn out for long. Way to go with the events down south.

Now if some one can post the videos of the drag races, the dosage will be complete.

Yes I was among that group along with BHPians, avishar and shortshifter.

Nice pics. I was really hoping the Vantage and the Gran Turismo to be at the track on sunday. Also thought the black Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder will be there.

Anyway here's a pic to mark my attendance at the Taj.

The enthusiastic turn-out at the Track was unbelievable considering the early set of a blazing summer, the industrial area location & distance.

That said, more shaded galleries and refreshment outlets could have been arranged for. The Muscat Bakery truck ran out of water and the supply came in quite late. The portable toilets were a welcome touch.

Something stuck me while leaning against the fence by the track watching the cars. The ground opposite the pits slopes away from the track. MMST can build an earth gradient there that looks on the straight to offer a spectacular view of the action on the straight and the pit lane.

Banisters should have been installed around the cars on display at the Hotel the day before. One super car owner became agitated over people touching his car though no one actually had then. His words made the on-lookers shy away. The banisters would have kept prying hands away from the cars.

Where are the videos? I read that the C63 AMG gave a few supercars a run for their money? Would love to see that! How about someone also posting info about who dragged with whom (cars) and who won. Not wanting to start a debate on who's faster but general knowledge's sake
