I am telling you man, our kerala cops have a certain knack for catching speeders. It's almost like a witch hunt. Well at least they are doing something properly.

While quite a looker in parts, the Avanti looses marks because of looking 'disjointed', as if its a marriage of one car's front and another's rear. I never quite liked Ford Figo's look for the same reason.

The rear kind of reminds me of a Bugatti Veyron.

1st DC Avanti of Mumbai. Last night was among one of the best days of my Life. I got Delivery of My White DC Avanti. It is one of the best Indian Car I've ever owned. Some spoke about the power to weight ration. But let me assure you that Avanti is powerful enough to keep you glued in your seat. I will put up my review with a walk around video soon. Mine is a White with Black and Grey Interior version.

Friend spotted the Avanti in Andheri East today.

Saw a yellow one with red TR plates on the Western Express Highway in Mumbai last week. It was being driven quite fast by what looked to be a company driver (he was in uniform) and was being chased down by guys on bikes scrambling to take photos and videos. The design is quirky but looks pretty nice in person. Unfortunately couldn't get any pics as I was on the highway.

I have a question. pardon me if this has been asked before in the earlier pages, dont have the patience to go through all of them.

This a super car. with such power figures and ground clearance, one cant practically drive this as a commuter on our roads. This raises too many issues, from people crowding up, to speeds it is capable of and so on.

So, if a person bought this car, they would need to take it to a track to really see it perform.

This car costs a bomb too.

One might as well get a used superb AWD petrol car for half or lesser this price, or even a well maintained skoda Octavia/laura VRS at much lesser price and soup it up and responsibly use it only on track with similar or may be more power on the track. And when they are done racing, they can certainly return it to stock and ply them on our regular roads too.

Why would one want to pay so much for a car like this? This isnt making sense to me.

It would be another story if DC has built this car to endure power figures of 600+ Bhp at even 20lacs more price. IMHO poorly thought out concept, as the competition is not at all considered. But a brave move in building India's first supercar.

Is this the same car? What is it about being launched yesterday? I hate this sentence though - "....attain an electronically limited top speed of 180 kph"
