However, in all fairness that color on a Jeep Grand Cherokee is very rare. Infact, i have never seen one in that color here in Australia, and it goes without saying that the Grand Cherokee does sell in decent numbers here. It could be possible that this is a custom color, and hence the emphasis on the color?

Once again, while writing this, i have not checked the Jeep India website to see if this is offered in the standard choice of colors.

If Lexus do come up with this idea, they should think of gifting it to Preity Zinta & Sushmita Sen. Both the actresses are still using their more than a decade old Lexus LX470 !

Out of curiosity, checked out the Jeep India website, and it is indeed a standard color being offered on the Cherokee.

Bollywood stars - because of the nature of their work - have a very good sense of aesthetics. I'm sure they find the NX as ugly as all of us do.

I don't think many Bollywood celebrities would touch the LX. Firstly, its exorbitant price of 2.5 crores (an upcoming star could buy a flat in Lokhandwala instead). Second, it's damn boring & old.

After all the legal cases her Landcruiser was embroiled in, I doubt she even would have clean paperwork to be able to sell the SUV :Frustrati. Although I'm sure Mr. Choksi can arrange a fresh RC book for her :D.

Ranveer = Rapide is unique & distinctive, just as he is.

Farhan = Cayman is a 'thinking man's' sports car. An intelligent choice.

GT-R = True car guy. Could have gotten a Ferrari instead (brand associations apart).

Grand Cherokee = Even if this was a gift (temporary?) from FCA, Saif has a thing for American cars & their character. Remember his Mustang? He's spent a lot of time in the USA (his daughter also studied there?). Clearly some influences.

Freelander 2 = Bought for the brand (and budget? Used?) more than anything else.

Very recently bought, right?

He had said on a show that he is a huge Aston Martin fan and I guess he even came close to owning on at some point. His Gallardo was a stunner too.
