That's right. Even I thought the same. Did some googling and it turns out his car is Blue.

Apparently SRK has been trying to sell of his BMW 7 series but the car isnt pulling a single buyer inspite of having the star's name associated with it. Price too, doesnt seem too high IMHO to repel people away. However,SRK's PR team says its fake and that the car was already sold.

Have BMW changed their model nomenclature - I thought a 740 Li was a 7 Series with a 4.0 litre engine (V8?). How come this is a 3000cc V6?

The funny part is that the number plates of the advertised car and the newspaper reports have a different font

Why would SRK bother to meet with someone buying his 25 lakhs BMW when he earns Rs 1 Cr for a 30 min wedding appearance!

This is what the dealer is saying to get the car sold, not SRK :P
Like many of the other things that dealers turn back on, this one too is a sure shot case where the dealer will keep giving some or the other excuse for not being able to make the buyer meet SRK

You have noticed a couple years late Its very rare the number after the series is actually the engine displacement now.

It's raining Maybach's in Bollywood. Jacqueline just got one in white too.
Others that have one are Ranveer, Deepika, Rani/Aditya Chopra.

While others like Saif/Kareena, Hritik, Shahid,Sonam have the regular S350/500/400

He probably just upgraded as he initially had the launch edition S500 which came with the same Maybach rims so hard to tell from the pics. Moreover that car was white too.

Several launch edition S500 owner felt ripped off as they paid as much for their cars as they now get a Maybach for. Surprisingly, several did yet upgrade!

This one is the Maybach and the other one is the launch edition S500. The main difference is the grille - the Maybach has 3 horizontal chrome strips (twin) on the inner side of the grille whereas the regular S has 4 single chrome strips.
