Not sure about the part in bold, but Nitrous, I agree with Blackpearl here. The Baleno does 100+ in second gear - at about 6200-6500 rpm. I can't be precise because of obvious reasons.
When my Baleno touches 105, the tacho needle is very close to the 6500 mark. I generally don't like over-revving, so I shift (whenever I rev that much, that is) at that point.
