A friend of mine spotted this 3-Series going up in flames on MG Road, Bangalore. This happened last night. No clue as to what caused the fire or if the car was involved in an accident before it went up in flames.

Its a bit misleading to say that the car caught fire and killed the owner. According to the report, the car fell off the road after the driver failed to negotiate a curve, which indicates he was probably speeding. The car caught fire after the high speed impact killing the driver.

Well yes. Probably the sentence was not correctly framed. The accident caused the fire and it was not the result of a manufacturing fault.
