yeah, I've done it too. Though I'm not too fond of them Italian cars, but just wanted to add to the list of the cars that ive driven in my life. The watch bit is so correct! the clothes too-and most importantly your attitude. Plus you've to spend a little time small talking before you actually say you'd like to take it out for a spin. They NEVER say no(!)
good luck!

And if they deny you..start shouting ...Racism!! Racism!!
I hate these things which some of desi guys do and people there thinks most of Desi's like this.
Mainly they purchse stuffs and return them withijn return period (After use mostly from Wallmart).

And now test drive to fulfill one's bucket list.

Play the typical time-tested trick - say that you've decided to by a Ferrari and even have TDed it. But a friend suggested to take a TD of the Diabolo and maybe the opinion would change. Hence I'm here for a TD.

Never fails to work...

Haha..nice one GD. It might have worked in the 90s, but probably wouldn't work anymore.

Wow….that would beyond a doubt be the most exciting moment I’d have. But I’d want to do a little more than a TD. A TD on a car that does 0- 100 is little over 4 sec…. not much fun on city roads.

Would Lambo be able to provide like a mini test track were we could do a couple of laps to see how it really perform? Man that would be my ultimate dream and that could be eventually be called Lambo’s unique TD.

I was staying at the Ritz in London a couple of years ago and my dad and I went out for a morning walk in a t-shirt and shorts, we return 3 hours later and the guards have changed, they deny us entry at first, my dad conducted himself very well and polished (I would've lost my temper!), the guards looked more closely at us having noticed the way in which my dad carried himself and then caught a glimpse of his Omega, they asked us for our room number, and said go right ahead...[However I think they were racist pricks]

Anyway my point is that the clothes and not even the accessories matter as much as your own confidence and the way in which you conduct yourself. Ratan Tata in golf shorts and a t-shirt is the same Ratan Tata as the one with tailored suits in the board room.

Take on a Supercar!

Hi BHPians,

For those who are planning a trip to Singapore - something you dont want to miss.

Choose between: A Ferrari or a Lamborghini.

Duration: 15 mins/30 Mins/ 1 Hr on East Coast Park expressway.

For one Hr if you have a partner, switch cars after 30 mins.

http://www.ultimatedrive.com/

Personally I guess 1 hr make more sense since it would take a while to get use to these beast and start enjoying.

Cheers
