Oh yeah, i've seen pretty much overloaded OMnis too - running on LPG. See one major problem which i did not aniticipate is the coil spring independent suspension set up of the indigo. It really put a rocking boat in high seas to shame.

I also understood why leaf spring setup is more tuned for load carryiing setups in vehicles.

Ofcourse, i do agree that the Indigo is / was not designed to do such things in the first place!

I'd have taken my 540, if i had anticipated the situation.

But the Sumo is not a "car", it is designed for that kind of loads : they say it's suspension is tuned for 10 fully grown adults (approx. 600-700kgs)

.

Not to forget it rocks like a boat all the time especially when 10 fully grown adults are not loaded into it.

Why don't you use your 540 for this kind of a job?

I would have defeinitely, iff I had anticipated and known. I was already 100 kms away on the GQ when i realised that lines were stopping.

Also, the customer has some logistics arrangement which meant, they may work etc. It was all a last moment call and I decided to load the "truck" called Indigo.

The truck called "indigo" performed well to give me 14.7 kpl FE during that trip too. But am not willing xxxx the car like that again.

Thanks for your suggestion, though
