Lol... Ok so economy and premium are different rates of car park area.

premium would mean you walk less towards the arrivals/departures where as economy would be you need to put that extra effort (in this case maybe walk half a km)

anyways in today's time where in the flight rates are a bomb( hyd-kol one way was 7k during pujo) we are in the platinum/titanium league already...(forgot to mention with salaries of an economy class)

Thanks for the headsup. Back in Cal airport, everything is premium though, according to me.The parking starts from Rs 60.00. Seen lot of people park their cars in the approach roads to the airport, and wait for arriving people. There should be a government regulation for max parking fees.

Just to let people know that the new ORR(Outer Ring Road)from Gachibowli to Aiport is ready and guess what its an absolute breeze the road. The whole stretch is 21kms frm GBWLI to SHMSHBD.

It is eventually going ot be a six lane, but right now only 4 lanes are open. There are two round-abouts on the road and be sure to take the correct turn at these round abouts as there are around 4 roads merging into the circle.

I am quite a regular visitor to the airport and secunderabad users can now drive to GCHBWLI and use this road, its any day better than getting in the Banjara Hill,Road No-1-Rethi Bowli-Mehdipatnam-NH7 traffic jams.I stay @ Sec-Bad and this road makes me drive a mere 4kms extra and saves upon time by 45minsSP Road-Banjara Hills Road 2-Hitec City-Gachibowli-Ring Road-Airport.

PS:For people coming from NH-7 to parts of the city like Miyapur-Kukatpally,Mumbai Highway etc, please take the ORR and you could by pass the entire city.

Best Way to Airport?

Hey Guys,

What is the best way to the airport from Hi-tech City? Some people say that the flyover from Medhipatnam is the best. I also read somewhere about the proposed road from Gachibowli to Airport. So, I'm in a bit of confusion.

From Hi-Tech City, go to Gachibowli and take the Outer Ring Road - it is a straight stretch of about 25 km to the approach road to the airport.

The Mehdipatnam route is better if you are going from more central areas like Somajiguda or Begumpet.

+1 to straightdrive's views. However the distance is 28 kms from Gachibowli Jn to the NH7 (Bangalare highway) and from there it is another 6.5 kms to the airport. The entire 34 kms can be covered in less than 30 minutes.

Avoid the other route via PVNR fly-over. Though a wee bit shorter, it will take you longer.
