Terrible experience with Mahindra RSA

Hello Friends

I’m sharing my nightmare experience today with Mahindra RSA. My car’s front right wheel got stuck in a drainage hole while moving from the parking lot, which wasn’t closed on Indiranagar.

When I tried to reverse, there was a lot of crackling noise and no movement. Hence, I immediately called the RSA, who promptly took all the details and said they would make arrangements.

1. Fifteen minutes later, there was no response. Upon calling, they said they did not have any information mine and collected it again
2. 30 minutes later, I followed up, and they confirmed they would send someone in an hour
3. later, it became 2 hours

After all, it is the real issue. When I followed up with them again, they asked if I could arrange a local one by myself, and we would reimburse you the amount. Pathetic, with no clue or help, I struggled. Later, folks who passed by saw and helped lift the front of the car, and I could move.

In between, I found many local towing services. They were kind, helpful, and ready to arrive in 30 minutes. I learned lessons if I needed to approach local ones in such a critical scenario. I have one such contact. DM me if necessary.

Mahindra is tied with TVS RSA, one of the worst services. Please be aware, and many thanks for reading.

Within the city limits, RSA struggling like this unheard of - such a incompetency on their part.

What I am unable to understand is: how come they dd not even record the first report you made? generally, they send you a SMS with URL to click - it gives them your exact location, a ticket is created and the tracking kicks-in. It's very absurd that the RSA did not even give you a tracking number/ some sort of acknowledgement that they have noted the issue and help is being arranged.

By the way, if you have an insurance RSA, you can use that too - most of us ignore that or don't remember. try that - they are sometimes faster! I used my Reliance RSA to two my car from home to an ASC that was 25 kms away without charging a single rupee!

Also, for reader's benefit the RSA numbers to use for M&M is: 1800-209-6006. You can use the WYH/ Mahindra For You/ Adrenox app to reach RSA too.

Thank you so much. I noted Insurance RSA; I wasn't aware of the need to check that. By the way, you are correct. They sent a sms link from TVS auto assist; I uploaded pics and location, etc., in the end, and while submitting, I got an error post that they asked me to send in 2 different Whatsapp numbers, which was done as well, but still no go

Sometimes the Insurance RSA is also lethargic. One of my close friend was involved in an accident and he tried to reach out to the Insurance RSA which took quite a lot of time to get connected. The call got disconnected on couple of occasions. The amount of questions asked by the customer care person was huge and quite irritating at times since the car was stuck in the middle of the road and creating a traffic jam. My friend just lost it and called the car workshop friend who arranged the tow vehicle within 30 mins.

We all take the RSA as an add on cover but with a hope that in such cases all things fall in place. God save if any incident happens on a weekend.
