I spotted this XUV5OO with AK-47 plates in Noida few days back. :Frustrati

Spotted this car in Hassan last week.
Let me explain the situation for the benefit of non-Kannada readers.
- This is a Tamil Nadu registered car sporting a number plate written in Kannada letters and numerals. Clearly a master defence against regionalists as well as cops looking out for out of state cars (or so the owner thinks).
- Not content with the Kannada number plate, the owner has gone on and added a second line of defence in the form of a POLICE sticker.
Saw this Thar with RJ 14 WALE plates in Jaipur. :Shockked:
Although the picture doesn't captures part of the rear bumper but this was the only plate the car was wearing in the rear, couldn't see the front as it sped off recklessly even before the traffic light turned green.
Man Pays Rs 126 Crore to Get Special License Plate as a Homage to His Grandfather.
Quote:
In a recent incident, a man spent a whopping sum of Rs 126 crore to get a ‘O 10’ License Plate. The person who got the number plate revealed a story behind the number. He said his grandfather was the tenth person in line for a number plate when they were first issued in Birmingham in 1902. His grandfather’s name was Charles Thompson and he was born in 1874. After Charles passed away in 1955, his son became the owner of the car and plates. Barry Thompson, the vendor’s father was also a fan of the unique and exclusive number plate. Apparently, Barry loved being spotted with the 0 10 plates while selling timber for his uncle’s business.

Bullet Owner: RC is lying in the police station, your friend is roaming in Haryana.
Haryana Police: You, your Bullet and RC all should be in the police station.

Should be Rs. 1.26 Crores, not 126.
The article mentions that it was sold for £128,800. Google tells me this converts to 1.28 crore rupees. Some journalism intern probably read the figure wrong and wrote the article.
Must say, that is one heck of a number-plate! 46, 46, 46. Imagine this on a superbike, in tribute to Rossi!

There is a heavily modded Tata Xenon which I regularly spot in Golf Course Road area, with HSRP plates which read HYP-04 or something or the other, BHPian //m might know what I am referring to.
Missing Maruti rl:

I've been seeing these weird style of temporary registration plates. Is there a new format I missed the news of? Or have the dealerships started pasting the stickers on the plate in random order? |
This is apparently a new mechanism of issuing temporary number but I too could not find much information on this.
As per my limited observation of a few cars, Haryana has implemented this but Punjab has not yet adopted this format. Cars bought in Mohali, Punjab continue to sport PB 65 temporary registration plates.
Maybe this is being introduced in a phased manner.
Saw this interesting one today. The guy didnt have a front plate either!
