A SWIFT accident! - with pic ;)

hi !
I smashed up my Swift (pic attached) a cpl of weeks back - hit a santro n then a curb (no I was not drunk! … just pushing it in the 3rd)
Though the car is all fixed.. one of my SM alloys is rendered useless.
Now I need to get ONE alloy ..Please advise a SM Alloys distributor where I can place an order for one.

That doesn't look bad considering the fact that the car has held up well.

nix' you could use this thread for posting accident pictures - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...ndia-pics.html

thats gotta hurt, would love to hear your initial reaction of how you felt when you stepped out to have a look at the damage!

so what happened you filed a case against the santro or vice-versa!

insurance will be clearing your mess rite! the alloys ( well sad story )

redlining isnt for everyone just kidin

hmmm...

ye!
thanks for the concern..
No the occupants of the Santro were ok.. (happenend to be an IAS officer!)
no police case.. the fault was on both ends.

My first reaction... as surprising as it may sound.. I was pretty ok about it.. as if.. this had to happen to me considering 'mera bad luck acha chal raha hai'.. just looked at the car .. n .. "oh well.. F***! I'm so screwed!"

Looking wise it may not look as bad.. but there was damage to the engine subframe.. hence the delay.
Hope to find the alloy wheel in Karol Bagh this weekend!

nix, this looks bad. Good to know you were not hurt.

I hope you have got it repaired from the authorized workshop. Check your car carefully, to see if the repairs have been carried out properly.

How much for the job?

That might not look bad, but has taken a considerable hit. How did it happen, can you share?

Whats the status on your Alloy? Any luck with acquiring another one of the same design?

Oh, and btw, for those of you who don't know - Nikhil here is the Brand Manager for WagonR in India.

Nikhil, please post a proper intro in the Introduction Section of the Forum. And do contribute on the WagonR threads at the very least. Some of them especially talk about its positioning versus the Estilo etc.
