Longest Drives!

The longest drive which I have done in a single day is from Ahmedabad to Kanpur - 1100 kms in my Ford Fiesta. We started at 5.00 am and reached Kanpur at midnight. The drive was in the monsoon season with rains across all the places we passed by.

I am looking for to a drive to Leh next summer

Longest drive from Goa - Hyderabad 750 Kms - done in single day. (marginally longer than my previous trip

)

Overall trip 2250 kms Hyderabad - Mahabaleshwar - Goa - Hyderabad (3rd - 11th Nov 2012.)

Did Chennai to Mumbai twice - first time it was 1350 Kms and next time it was 1310 Kms. Start for both the trips at 0500 hrs and reach by 2345 and 2330 hrs respectively.

My longest drive has to be Delhi to Vadodara in sept, 2012. A total of 998 kms according to the car's ODO reading.

The next longest trip would be Bangalore to Goa back in 2007. A total of around 800 kms IIRC.

The longest drive as a passenger was NYC to Toronto covering a total distance of around 500 miles or 800 kms approx.

The longest drive I have done in a single day is 650 kms, Bhubaneswar-Boudh-Bhubaneswar. Start time 8 AM and finally back by 7:30 PM the same day. We were driving in my uncle's Pajero.

The longest ride that I have done in a single day are:

Bangalore-Goa: 692 kms
Start time- 4:30 AM
End Time- 6:30 PM

Goa-Bangalore: 699 kms
Start time- 6:30 AM
End time- 8:30 PM

I was riding on my Pulsar 180 last month with 2 friends on another P180.

The longest drive I have done is Delhi-Jaipur -Delhi in a single day . We started off from Delhi at 4:30 in the morning , reached Jaipur at 10:00 (The traffic at Manesar was awful, had a full one hour jam at around 5:30 in the morning

). Completed the work in Jaipur and left for Delhi at 11:15 . Reached home at 5 PM (Encountered the same serpentine jam again) . The car was a Chevy Beat and the max I touched was 120/hour . Total distance : 569 kms.

The Longest I did was from City of Pearls(Hyderabad) to City of Destiny(Vizag), 700kms in different drives. First time was on Opel Corsa, then Wagon R and on M800.

On Corsa - it took me 8 hrs including one pit stop to get the puncture done and one Lunch and misc break @ Rajahmundry
On Wagon R - it took 10hrs including breaks
On M800 - it took 14 hrs inclusive all breaks

Longest drive in a day between Coimbatore to Chennai - 540 Kms, started by 7AM reached by 2 PM and returned the next next day after 12 hrs of stay in Chennai. with 50 hrs covered 1100kms.

Love to have a single stretch drive to Goa. :-), the plan is in chords.

My longest drive so far is from Pune to Bangalore which I did when I moved to Bangalore. Did it in 13 hours with breaks in-between, in my i10 Sportz.
Total KMs including internal travel 990kms at a stretch.

We Have travelled many times from Toronto to Orlando, full trip approx 5000km and once from Toronto to Branson Missouri round trip + area of 3500Km. But then driving on those road IS the holiday for me, rather than the destination in itself.

The longest Drive I have done so far is Pune to Vadodara approx 570 Kms during Diwali, in 10 hours, which included a break for 2 hours To meet friends enroute. The companions were My wife and trusty Skoda Fabia

Next planned journey is Pune - Agra, with the same companions !! Plan to complete this in a couple of days, cause I plan to go via Vadodara again as my family stays there.

Have done Pune-Goa thrice, and each time the journey took approximately 7 Hours including break times.
And once done Pune - Tarkarli in 7 hours distance was quite similar to Goa including break times again.

my longest drive i did was on diwali November 2012.
from Pune to Kota (Rajasthan) via Ahmadabad, Udaipur, Chittor.
total distance 1225 KMs.
total time taken 17 hours.
started in morning at 6am and reached same day at 10 PM.
took 30 minutes lunch and 5 minutes tea break.

My longest drive is from Pune - Goa - Ratnagiri - Chiplun - Mahad - Pune
Total distance - 1225 kms
Car - Dzire Vxi
Max distance covered in day - 450 Kms (I can do more also if road is good

)

No planning for next year. Pune - Banglore - Ooty & back. Lets see how it goes.
