Pics: Your first post-lockdown highway drive

I drove from panipat-udaipur-vadodara and back via Mt Abu and jaipur. Total trip was 2400km and had a wonderful time on the best highways in the country.
The speed was constantly between 90-125 kmph.
Mileage achieved was 20.6 kmpl for complete trip in the new hyundai creta 2020.

What a fantastic thread. Happy to see things are limping back to normalcy, except for the poor souls of Tamil Nadu which is still under lockdown. TN is in doldrums.

Wonderful thread. I did my post lockdown first highway drive on last Saturday. Felt so good after such a long time and I plan to get out again soon.

Lovely pictures in the thread!

While I haven't had a long highway run yet, here's one from the Bandra Worli Sea-link from the weekend. Was also lucky to spot a Lamborghini Urus there

The only runway of Dibrugarh Airport is going to be extended. Construction of the extension is under progress and right now that stretch is open to public. About 15kms from my home, had a blast with family on that stretch last Sunday.

And as the Unlock 3.0 kicked in, I just drove down from Bangalore to Kolkata.

Was only stopped at the AP KA border, and I just said transiting through AP. A night halt at Vizag and then a quick dash to Bhubaneswar and then Kolkata.

We packed our lunch and hot water from home. Refilled from our stay at Vizag. Trying to maintain social distancing through out the journey.

This tunnel is just before Udaipur, its also called nathdwar tunnel and is about half a km long. Another pic I got online.

Drove from Bangalore to Bhopal (around 1,550 kms) during the third week of May. I upgraded to a 320d in the month of Feb and this was the only occasion I got to drive it on the highway.
