The Great India Place Mall NOIDA, very good parking. and a very organised one at that..
Worst: The Ansal PLaza Mall Greater Noida, they have a pillar right in the middle of the circular exit ramp...

Garuda Mall, Oasis Mall, UB City,Sigma Mall,Mantri Mall etc are absolutely horrendous. |
May be it is a good idea to RATE the parking lots (as damage risk = low, etc.) to help those of us who visit a parking lot for the first time.
Here are some additional Parking Lots, and the associated damage risk (in my opinion):
Club Mahindra, Coorg - Very Good, Spacious; damage risk = low
Hotel Arunachala, Thiruvannamalai - Tricky, but OK; not spacious; damage risk = medium
Hotel Ramyaas, Trichy - Very tricky, also very little space; damage risk = high
Hotel AppleTTree, Tirunelveli - Good, spacious; damage risk = low
Sterling Munnar - Very Good, spacious; damage risk = low
Hotel Lake Forest, Yercaud - Sloping Parking Lot, need to be careful, but enough parking slots; damage risk = low
Sterling Fernhill, Ooty - Very Good, spacious; damage risk = low
Hotel Devi Towers, Salem - Nearly on the road, but OK; damage risk = medium
Hotel Femina, Trichy - Very good, spacious; damage risk = low
Hotel Hill Country, Kodaikanal - Steep gradient (with hairpin bends) to the parking lot, but good; damage risk = low
Hotel Dasaprakash, Mysore - Can get crowded as the day proceeds, but is OK; damage risk = low
Hotel Saravana Bhawan, Mylapore - Very congested; damage risk = high
Hotel Saravana Bhawan, Vellore - Good, spacious for the expected crowd; damage risk = low
Hotel Saravana Bhawan, Gandhi Road, Kanchipuram - Very limited parking slots; damage risk = medium
Gandhi Bazaar, Basavanagudi, BLR - Good; can get crowded quickly; damage risk = low
A2B, Chinar (after Hosur, before Krishnagiri) - Very Good; damage risk = low
Club Mahindra, Thekkady - Good; damage risk = low
Oasis Mall on ORR in Bangalore has to be the worst place to try to park the car.
I used to leave the car in the open parking near the adjoining Max.
Oh yes the Forum Mall at Whitefield has to be the nicest place to park car. Big and spacious.

Don't you mean IRR?
Oasis Mall is particularly irritating in a long, wide and large vehicle like the Scorpio, Fortuner, Civic, Laura etc because one is forced to stop, reverse and then take those tight turns when ascending or sometimes even while descending. For such a large mall, it is very poorly designed indeed.
Bangalore Central, Bellandur is my opinion the worst mall parking wise in Blr. The MLCP does not have enough space for even bigger hatches to maneuver and enter the narrow platforms. Mantri Mall would come second. Somehow I feel comfortable parking in Total Mall, Sarjapur road. Maybe I am too familiar with that place. Another good parking space is Forum Value mall, whitefield.
This list is again from Bangalore
Good ones
- Forum mall (Adugodi and value mall)
- Esteem mall (Hebbal)
Bad ones
- Oasis Mall (IRR)
Poor turns and at times lanes are mixed towards exit
- Total Mall (Madivala)
Very less space. The valet staff are crude. Dont even give your keys.
- Bangalore Central (JP nagar)
Involves Tricky turns. I've been a witness to an Audi A6's side bottom getting scrapped due to invisible low rise path markers.
- Royal meenakshi mall
Getting in involves Q time during weekends. And if you are rushing to catch a movie - forget it. Otherwise great for week day shopping.
- Garuda mall

Recently went to GIP and Select City Walk in the same weekend.
I found GIP to be lacking on signage and cleanliness .... while SCW was really well kept and minders + good signage. Truly impressed. The lift corridors were coded with numbers so that you could locate your car again.
For me, any mall parking that has speed-breakers is bad. All malls install rubber speed-breakers with bolts. No matter how sloe you go, you will still feel the thud.
Moreover, they install them on curved driveways and without any signs. That's even more aweful.
I don't understand why you need speed breakers on curved driveways. No one can drive fast anyways!
Speed-breakers are a craze here, be it on private driveways or on national highways.
Note from Mod: There are several spelling & grammatical errors in your posts. This negatively affects the board experience for other readers.
Kindly ensure that you proof-read your posts prior to submission. Also, it would be a good idea to use spell-checkers.
My experience with 2 worst parking lots are
1. Royal Meenakshi Mall, they lack basic sign boards(directions change inside at their will) and the staff down in the lot lack basic knowledge of parking
2. Forum, Koramangala, very tight spaces sometime and lot of interfering traffic inside.
Bad Parking Lots:
----------------
Royal Meenakshi Mall - It proves that space doesn't mean its a good parking. I would say its a badly designed one.
Total Mall, Madiwala - Very congested, Once the parking is full they allow you to park anywhere.
Big Bazaar, Ameerpet Hyderabd - Pillars everywhere. Newbies will find it difficult to park here.
Good Parking Lots:
------------------
Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad
Phoenix Mall, Bangalore
Forum Mall, Bangalore
Forum Value Mall, Bangalore
Since many are talking about Bangalore city, let me stick on.
Best: The Forum, Koramangala. The entry, exit and the space allotted for each car is 5 star. And considering they had the vision to do this many years earlier, I consider it one of the best in the city. I don't think the space allotted for each car in Value Mall is good enough when compared to The Forum.
Worst: Garuda Mall. It is all that The Forum is not. I hate it.
And what were they thinking at The Leela? Most arrive in wide cars and its like a F1 box. Ridiculous!

Worst One:
Big bazaar in the city (Chandigarh). Parkings are basically made using iron lifts where vehicles can be parked on the top also. The space to park vehicle is extremely narrow in width and on the top also. To add to it, very narrow lane to turn youcar into teh parking space. |
+ The ambient lighting is poor which only complicates it. Last time I went, they were doing maintenance on the drains releasing a god awful smell.
PVR Centra has bad parking too ....
- Long queues to get in
- several parking spots are back to back (leaves you trapped behind another car)
- Narrow width of the spiral ramp
The best parking is probably at Fun Republic: open and ample space.
Extending this to Office Car Parks - I'm only aware of mine in the heart of Whitefield, Bangalore - we have a capacity to park over 700 cars in the open (all are parked adjacent to each other; no stacking; no MLCP) - in a well marked, well-guarded and spacious parking lots. Damage risk is almost NIL :D
Getting to Mumbai, the ones in which I have been, the Infinity 2, the Oberoi Mall and some more have good parking areas. I liked the system in Infinity 2 which tells you where there is parking space through a green/red light above the particular space.
Worst, is Indraprasth. They are parked so close to each other that if 1 car is to be removed, 2-3 cars need to be moved. Its a valet system BTW. I prefer parking on the road and waiting in the car rather than giving my car in their hands.
