Okay. I am also in same boat, hold Regalia LTF. Have got offer to get it changed to DCB, but skipped that due to reasons mentioned above.

As such, happy with Regalia, the only added advantage I see for me with respect to Infinia was unlimited lounge access. I have an add on card which my wife uses and hence makes her eligible for lounge access as well. However, this way the the complimentary access is divided between us both, hence the Infinia.

Regarding the speculated 'Infinia Reserve' can just he the same card even. Remember Reglia World and similar nomenclature.

Last month, I figured out even Emirates airlines doesn't accept Diners in India while doing flight booking. I escalated to HDFC Bank and to no avail. Not much acceptance in Europe too. Now I am in the process of getting another card.
I completely agree with your assessment. I have been using DCB since more than 4 years now and it is still hit-or-miss kind of situation whether it is online or offline purchases. The only reason I am still keeping this card is, mine is LTF and it has got better reward points when used offline, compared to any of the other cards that I have.

Guys how do I access my Magnus Travel Edge points statement? Just to check are these multiplier points being credited or not.

Also, a quick update guys, got an email for Vistara today, they're running a 30% bonus CV points promotion this month for conversion of loyalty points to CV points. You need to enrol using the link given in the same mail. Please check and enroll!

With the recent news that Vistara brand is merged into Air India , How will these miles be handled? Perhaps some conversion ratio to Air India miles has been announced?

In the Axis Mobile app, under the credit card section, you need to go the menu > Reward Points > Transaction history. This will give details of each transaction and the reward points earned for it.

Guys, for Axis Magnus, the 1L spend is counted for one calendar month or is it for one billing cycle?

It is 1 calendar month -

https://www.axisbank.com/docs/defaul...ewards-tnc.pdf

5) Spends are calculated on a calendar month basis i.e 1st of every month irrespective of card issuance date.

They have a program for alums of premier engineering/MBA institutes wherein they will upgrade you to a DCB LTF varient if you meet the requirements. Drop an email to priority redressal for HDFC CC and see.

I got my DCB converted to LTF this way.

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Milestone benefits and your current status on it is not easily available on HDFC website for credit cards, atleast for Regalia. Even customer care guys were not able to give me those details. How do you guys check and plan your spends then?

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Axis Magnus - Came across a strange incident a week ago. The EDC at the fuel station turned down the transaction saying "STOLEN CARD". I ended up using another card(not Axis) to complete the transaction. Today I see this transaction reflecting in my Magnus statement . Cust care resisted vigorously at first asking me to take it up with the fuel station, finally got them to dispute and investigate it.

This has never happened before, bit worried.

Did the EDC display/print "STOLEN CARD" or did the fuel station attendant state the same? Either the card is accepted or denied. Wondering if the attendant is taking you for a ride.

Stolen. Saw it in with me own eyes. WHat's strange is that the very same card worked a couple hours later for a much larger transaction. Clearly AI is in it's early stages.

It is visible in HDFC net banking. You need to navigate to cards and on credit card --> enquire, choose redeem reward points. It will open a pop up. Make sure you allow pop up. In that go to my rewards and choose spend promo details. You will be able to see progress against appropriate milestone benefits.

For Regalia, it is 5L card anniversary milestone.

For DCB, it is 80K monthly milestone benefits.

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Hello,

I am HDFC Credit Card user from last 12 years. I started with their entry level offering. Every couple of year I would get LTF upgrade and overall I was happy with HDFC. In Jan 2021, I was upgraded to LTF Diners Black from Regalia. I was really happy when HDFC offered upgrade to Diners Black, even though in multiple forums I had read about acceptance issues of Diners. Frankly for first one year I did not face much issues. It would get rejected very rarely, but since Jan 2022 it started getting worst. I do not like carrying multiple cards and I usually prefer to keep 1 debit and max 2 credit cards in my pocket.

Final nail in the coffin was when even Dmart rejected my Diners card couple of times. Frankly Dmart happily accepted the Amex but rejected Diners. I have Imperia relationship with HDFC and I used to feel like I deserve better from HDFC. I started following the documented procedure to upgrade the Diners Black to Infinia. But none of them were helping. As usual my assigned RM was good for nothing. I gave him very good investment incentive to upgrade my card, but he did not even try to upgrade.
Finally out of frustration I reached out to the corporate relationship manager which was assigned for my employer. Somehow even they did not give much heed to my email.

Finally I threatened to move my complete relation out of HDFC, which got their attention and someone from their team with title "Super Premium Card Sales Manager" helped me. He gave me two options. Either keep my existing card and get an additional Regalia to use whenever Diners get rejected or second option to upgrade to Infinia with FYF. As I do not prefer to carry multiple card, I rejected first option. I did quick math and I felt like INR 12000 fees was worth it considering the additional points I may get.

Even though recently there were lot of changes to bonus points, but overall Infinia is worth the annual charges I feel.

Cheers!
